Gaming R4 to Original Cartridge

Is it still possible to transfer pokemons from R4 to a legit copy of Pokemon B/W since the GTS is dead?

Local is way different from WFC you know ? I could play MKDS with my sister using local wireless right now if i wanted to

how in the world could a local transfer which you can use with no internet connection be dependant on an online service?

Lo-kun yes you can trade, you must use the pokecenter room since you can't use the IR (not a single flashcart does have IR)
if you go on the pokecenter room with both the consoles you can see both players and trade there. the local trade using the bottom screen buttons needs the IR for start the connection...
