Maybe on emulators (though there I would almost certainly push for having it happen on one machine and then just streaming the results to another machine), doubtful for real hardware this side of things like we now see for the NES. Otherwise do a forum search for tunnelling as the topic comes up often enough.

Out of curiosity what games did not get a sequel, new version or just had a local version that was that much better? I can see things like Advance Wars but I think I would sooner hack the newer engine to be restricted to older styles of play.

Do you have a patched ROM or are you using No-SSL Action Replay codes? I'm hoping to try my Pokémon games (Pearl, Platinum, Japanese HG, White, and White 2) and see what I can still do with them.

I patched the games with the ssl patcher. Gen V is not working with mystery gift just yet.

Ah. I don't really feel like downloading ROMs right now, nor do I have tools to easily dump my own roms, so I'll have to wait for AR codes.

I have an EZ Flash 3-in-1, but that'd take far too long to use. I also have an R4i Save Dongle, but you can't dump roms with those as far as I know.

Unable to connect. Either the server is experincing high traffic volumes or Nintendo WFC service is currently down. Error Code 23503. Been getting that error message when trying to connect online using the nossl patcher for a few nintendo ds games like metroid prime hunters, mario kart ds, and more.

Yesterday I managed to get a firend code on MKDS (US version as I was unable to patch EU one) but I forgot to delete wfc config, si I did it and now I just get something like

Impossible to connect. Either the server is experiencing too much trafic or the wifi connexion service is not working.

After pressing next it says me to wait a little and retry, and after Error 23503.

Is the test server crashed or something ?

Also, yesterday I got a friend code on pokemon platinum, and when I tried to enter pokemon plaza I got instantly disconected (Patched with nossl 1.4). I think instant disconnection like this is like the server saying that it is not devlopped ?

I'm getting a crash when trying to connect to the server in Mario Kart DS (With the no SSL patch).

Sits on connecting for a bit, then locks up. Any ideas?

I was able to play 10 races in MKDS with no connection problems at all and 3 other racers.

I patched the games with the ssl patcher. Gen V is not working with mystery gift just yet.

Did you use the generic patcher from altwfc.net? It seemed to break my Black 2 game on an R4i Gold card, but works fine on a emulator.
Can't seem to connect to anything on Pokemon Gen V games. Always get kicked off with error 13209 (server overload).
