We thank everyone for their praise and feedback regarding our latest firmware which brought homebrew and online play support.

With each new firmware update we prove to be unrivalled in our originality, ingenuity and support.
Innovation and fantastic product support are the key ideas that sets us apart from the imitators.
These key ideas are what ensure our community will prosper.

Yes, we heard the feedback about the savegame mechanism, and we have plans to improve this and bring it to a whole new level of support.
Yes, we heard about the latest 7.2.0 system firmware, and there is no need to worry.

We have been working on the new encryption puzzle added by the later system firmwares but as they say, the proof is in the pudding.
And unfortunately the pudding is not ready yet, but we know it will be delicious.
This is our top priority right now so please bear with us while we stir and work our magic!

And as always, support the innovators not the imitators!

EDIT: It seems Gateway has a plan for getting 7.2.0 crypto working in EMUNAND. What do you guys think it is?

That's not how I read that "press release" at all. They are working on getting 7.2 running on emunand. That's it. Nowhere does it state that they are attempting to get it working on newer FW.

I think he meant to say firmware versions above 4.5, of which there is no support, and doesn't have high hopes of seeing new firmware support. There never will be actual FW support for 4.5+, only emunand from the looks of it.

-Gba support- Gba emu
-Dsi Support
- 7.xx keys for new games like suer smash brothers or pokemon omega ruby
-Screenshots
-Dump our eshop games like nes, gbc...

break the 7.0+ encryption (pokemon bank, youtube, and now possibly eshop, will also be when 7.0 SDK games are released)

well there is no mention of this being about running gateway on 7.2 ....just about having the encryption cracked, could come in the form of pre-decrypted system settings and eshop which can be installed or a super clever hack that actually allows the use of 7.x encryption natively, if i understood how the whole 7.x encryption works, even getting gateway working on 6.x would allow the decryption of 7.x content as it uses the same keyslot as the 6.x save encryption EDIT ok maybe not that but the other 2 options are possible

No it doesn't. It's initialized at the same time but it's a different key. 6.x would help for absolutely nothing except the save file issue.

no worries, but still gateway never actually said they had 4.5+ working, just that they where looking into it
