Hi everyone, I hope you can help me out. I did a stupid thing and accidently deleted the homebrew channel and deleted ios 36 but I have restored ios 36 but my wii u still wont update and at the moment it is on v4.0.2 I have tried deleting and reinstalling ios 249,250,251 and ios 36 without patches and still wont update. I have done a syscheck and I see no problems with it but here it is apart from that it says that ive got the homebrew channel when I haven't. im using the wii hombrew launcher.

Interesting, why is IOS36 Trucha and NAND access patched. try installing a clean vWii IOS36 and see if that fixes stuff.

it was a guide that I followed that left the es id and something else untpatched but I have already tried an original ios 36 and still no joy

i have just read now on another persons system check that 2 of my ios is different revs ios 34 is supposed to be rev 3864 and ios 59 is supposed to be rev 7201, how can i restore them or is it safe to delete them then run the update?

Delete(remove)those ios you installed yourself(exclude 249,250,251)
Then try to on line update again.

THANK YOU THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. sorry for shouting but you are a legend airline38 been trying for 4 month to fix this you have mad me a happy man and I cant thank you enough

Can someone point me in the right direccion here, I have remove IOS 41 42 43 to try and see if my updates work and I do get to 88% then error 162-0002 again and again, my games dont work since they are asking for updates also please help ASAP will greatly appreciate it.

I have the same problem, i cant update either. is it because of my ios 58? also, i have ios 512 and 513 that OP does not have........ i dont really know a lot about this stuff, so any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

don't delete ios58 I have heard that bad things happen if you do. besides I had this problem before and I had to delete ios 's exept for that one and it worked for me

your ios 53 looks suspicious though try removing it. also ios 512 and 513 are probably for the exiting to wii u channel so don't mess with those

I believe IOS 512 and IOS 513 are "new NANDloader binaries (1-512 and 1-513)"

Do NOT mess with them.

Try to figure out everything you did "extra" to your wiiu
and BEFORE you try to undo anything make sure you have a nand backup.(just in case)

Use SysCheck HDE.

Also as said your 53 looks odd

Mine is: IOS53 (rev 5919): No Patches
