Anyone else getting a Wii U update. Mine automatically installed and I cannot seem to find any information on it.

Well thats way too boring. I'm curious about the auto update though. I don't think i have it set for that.
It seems to automatically update without asking now. I turned off automatic downloads but it still updated last time (4.0.3)

Not taking any more chances so I deleted my internet settings. I want homebrew.

I had to manually update my U. I didn't even get a notification that there was an update available.

The Internet Browser has a HQ button on the movie player, however it seems to not work properly on youtube videos that have embed blocks.
I see a few interface changes in the manual browser and the HOME menu too.

You could have also disabled background downloading.

I thought I did....ah crap on a cracker :shy: I hope someone finds a way to block updates, but that won't be for a while I'm sure. I think I deleted my internet settings from the menu though, and the other WiFi connections around here are encrypted, so, I can't use them without their passwords. Our's is but too bad I deleted it. Not.

Ugh, I wish someone could figure out what to block in the router to keep it from connecting. That method works great on PS3. Someone had something to supposedly block in a topic awhile back, but it turned out to not work. Guess Nintendo is smarter than Sony (lol fanboy)

PS: Happy Birthday, Joostin! :grog: :toot:

You'll be cut off from online until you update.

PS: My birthday is in 1.5 hours. And no that's not some lame April Fool's joke.

Well, a lot of us are boned lol. And happy birthday! :D Unless I unplugged the router (which I have admin access to), but I'm pretty sure I deleted the online connection from the settings.
