Hacking Weird Problem With Powersaves 3DS

I'm having a weird problem. I backed up my Tales of the Abyss(US version) save to try out the powersave they have for it, then I went to restore my backup and it's suddenly not recognizing my game. It's not showing that my backup is there(which it is, in fact there, I've already double checked).

All my other games are still working just fine, however.

Same thing had happened to me with my Pokemon Y. For me apparently I messed with the connection or something happened to it during back up which left it backing up a corrupt version, so when you keep trying to restore your just restoring the corrupt backup. Good thing I had more that one back up.

Well, the thing is, it's acting like there's no online content for the game, when previously there was a powersave for the game, which is what I was trying out when this problem started.

EDIT:Another odd thing is that the file name of my original backup is "AABE602f1b84_2014-03-26_14-35-59_(TOTABackup)" and the filename of a second backup I just made is "ÿÿÿÿfd1b6e7__2014-03-26_15-33-59_(New Game Plus)". The first part of the second filename should be the same as the first part of the first filename.

I really need some help with this. I'm also getting the "No Hardware Found" error with my Tales of the Abyss, but as I said before, all my other games are working with Powersaves just fine, it onlky Tales of the Abyss that's suddenly giving me problems.

yeah its not the most hygienic solution but it seems to work for most people XD

Yeah, it's reading in the 3DS just fine.

After messing around for a while, I was able to get it to cooperate long enough to restore my original save, so that's a plus. It seem like it's acting the same as things were act for those who had problems with Pokemon X previously.

well from the garbled name it just looked like it wasn't getting a very good connection to the card

I had that issue with Y I figured out my Serial code was wrong

It's just odd, since it worked just fine when I backed up my original save and tried the powersave, but then started having these problems when I went to restore my original save.

I know that's not the problem as all my other games work just fine.

How times have changed. NES games only needed you to blow them.

Still no luck. But, as I said before, at least I manged to get it cooperate long enough to restore my original save.

If anyone wonders how I managed to restore my original save:When messing around with it, it would sometimes recognize my game, and thus my orginal save properly, for a few seconds before throwing up the "No Hardware Detected" error after several seconds of trying to access the online content for the game. So, I disconnected my computer from the internet, messed around with it until recognized the game properly again and, since I was disconnected from the internet, it didn't throw up the error and I was able to restore my original save.
