I don't understand what you mean by it doesn't hang before saving,

When you go into the game then exit it by pressing home then X. If it exits the game OK then you won't have a save issue, if it stays on the exiting dialog then just re-start the 3ds and try again.

its working in English on my gateway 2.01b, ive never used emunand.

kirby works fine on GW 2.0b2, the japanese version at least, the game just has not been dumped, you can do like me and purchase the damn thing though, it's totally worth it.

Just use a card without emunand or set up emunand again nd keep it on. 4.5 and the game will play in English

what do you mean ,why cant you just boot GW in non emunand mode instead?do you have to make a emunand below 7.1 is that really necessary ?
im on 2.0b1 with the last fw version supported by emunand before 2.0b2 , i have not tested it yet though

but if someone is using 2.0b2 with emunand updated to 7.1.16 then why cant they just boot into real nand GW mode,do they have to re make anew lower version emunand,?

if you change your 3ds console language to english (if you want to test haha), does the game still play in spanish? (is the game language saved to the game save?)

It shouldn't.

If I change the console lang to English the emunand will change too.

I just stick to my own tbh just to be safe I don't run USA rips at all. I know they say it does not matter but I don't like doing it for my own peace of mind.

yeah removign the partition is a bitch but i think someone on the official support forum posted a thread that has a bunch of tools and one is to remove the partition
i was just wondering if it was techinically needed to do that ,like if just having it on the sd would affect non emunand GW mode or something ,i dont see why it would though

if you have emunand set up it will always use emunand....unless you go to a pre-emunand version i.e 1.0-1.2 (which yoshi's new island wont work with afaik)

easiest way for people who dont know what partitions are and that to get back to 4.x on emunand would either be dumping the system nand then injecting it back into the emunand partition with the nand tool, or backing up all their saves to pc and picking format emunand again from the gateway menu.............even easier would be just using a separate SD with no emunand setup and using the launcher without it

if you know how to deal with deleting the emunand partition just do that

if you go to gateway mode (i.e running the ds profile exploit) with emunand on the SD, it will ALWAYS use emunand mode (holding L or not holding L, it doesnt matter), to update your system nand you obviously just dont run gateway mode then update (dont ask me why you would want to like)

only way to not use emunand once its installed is to remove the emunand partition on the PC or use a old launcher from before emunand was added i.e 1.0-1.2, b1 and b2 will always boot emunand if it is set up on the SD car,

PS. dont confuse this with thinking your 3ds just boots into emunand if its been switched off completely.....when you first power on its in system nand which is just the standard 4.x untill you run the DS profile exploit

Actually the easiest way to remove emuNand is to use Win32DiskImager or similar tool to write anything bigger than 512 bytes (for example, Win32DiskImager.exe itseft) to the SD card, the partition table would be overwritten. Then, just simply format the SD card, and emuNand would be gone.
