Correct, it's done by holding L when you select DS Profile.

I've got a MT-Card and haven't updated it yet. Did someone want me to test something with running 1.1 of the launcher.dat but not updating my hardware?

As far as bricking is concerned - I do have a NAND flasher installed, with all the progress everybody's made am I basically safe now if I do get bricked... like can I unbrick it? I have a Raspberry Pi.

If I should be safe, then I'll go ahead and update the MT-Card software, hardware, whatever you guys want me to test.

I'll try it tonight, I don't have my 3DS on hand at the moment. Plus from what I'm seeing, their servers are being hammered at the moment anyway so I'll just grab the downloads later.

I sure hope they actually wrote their own backend code, even if they based the features off of Gateway... honestly I'll lose a lot of respect for them otherwise. One of the reasons I switched from Gateway to MT-Card was that MT-Card actually wrote their own code and didn't just steal Gateway's like all the other "clones" - AND it had the Multi-ROM stuff. I don't really need EmuNAND when I have an actual NAND flasher anyway, since I can just as easily upgrade/downgrade all the time anyway. And any new games that require 5.x+ I legally own anyway

Still works. Probably the card update fixed some issues concerning 32GB MicroSD support.


Someone really needs to write a save converter between GW and MT since MT switched to GWs way of saving.

You dont need a save converter...
Take your GW savefile and rename it your_game.sav (same name as the .3ds). Thats it

MT 1.0 and MT 1.1/GW2.0B2 saves are incompatible.

So before "1.1", the Empty card was more authentic but now is another clone of Gateway with a custom menu. Way to go R4i.

Yes they are! All my saves from MT 1.0 can be loaded without any problem on MT 1.1

Lmao they put 3DSGuy's rom tool in the rar packet and didnt give him credit. Kinda fucked up

LOL, they use an old version(v2.8). They did leave some credit for rom_tool with me by not patching out my name in app's help text.

Epic, they really don't do their rep as a 'clone' any favours lol. Good to see the competition heat up a bit, hopefully GW will move things along quicker now

I must say, I bet the Gateway team/coder is sweating a little and shifting the 2.0 release into high gear now, if they weren't already. There is little reason to buy Gateway now that a more than decent multi-rom card is around, so if they don't want to become irrelevant they better get it released sooner rather than later. Let's hope we won't be looking at Gateway's 2/25 news update for the next month like their last and past updates.

I like MT-Card style as they are silent but deadly while Gateway keeps saying coming soon and keeps bragging but nothing to show for except some teasers

It feels like mt-card do not support 7.1.0-16U,that could be anti-flashcard(I'm trying it one more time and I actually did not find some file big enough to be the new system, which should be approximatly 1 giga)

not sure i understand that correctly, so does MT card not support 7.1.0-16U on emunand?
doubt it would be anti-flashcard stuff 7.1.0-16 was released before MT even had emunand and gateway works fine with it
