No SD expansion, only a Tegra 3 instead of Tegra 4, and still only 1GB of RAM? 1GB of RAM for "gaming" plus the OS is a joke... My Galaxy S4 and Nvidia Shield each have 2GB of RAM and SD expansion, with Tegra 4 and Snapdragon 600 GPUs, respectively...

But sticking with the same GPU can keep costs down, during small revisions, until the newer chip gets cheap enough for a major console revision.

Upgraded controller = PS3 controller and BT mouse/trackball (for emergencies)
Upgraded storage = Any old USB HDD/flash drive you have handy
Upgraded Wifi = Remove the metal cover from the OUYA

I see no point in an extra $30 for something that All OUYA owners already have.
Don't get me wrong, I thing OUYA is great, but constant 'upgrades' are what make Android phones so terrible, a TV based home console needs to last for a few years to build up a game catalog and userbase. Before we know it, there'll be a bunch of games that require some stupid new feature and 30,000 users will be unable to play.

I can't seriously see how people stand behind the Ouya when it is literally the strawman cancer that people say "is ruining the video game industry." It's a bunch of microtransaction games on a system that has a new model every year. Like it feels like an actual joke.

Could be a company scam trying to get as much money off off releasing as much stuff quickly and making newer software versions incompatible with the old hardware.
