Here is a quick video update to show we have nand-based saves working.
We are still tweaking and optimizing multirom, so please be patient!

Email that I just received from Gateway. Looks awesome I am bugging them once more for an ETA

I could care less for multirom as long as they get NAND saving in. It's finally good to have a company focused on keeping it's current and potential userbase excited and happy.

Gateway really, Santalune City? I though you were better than that.

See I'm the opposite of that. I want multirom and don't care about NAND saving because I'm going to be using the Animal Crossing and Pokemon X retail cartridges for their online functionality. Gateway is awesome for getting so many different features implemented, though.

people are jerks thanks for the news good job man some of us have a life and dont all-ways refresh the gateway page XD

No, the others do make a correct remark, and mods did ask to keep/post all 3ds flashcard info on/to the main thread.
Besides, if the main 3ds flashcard thread gets updated, i always get a warning...
It is also not hard to set, just click on "Watch Thread"

Just trying to share info no need to be a giant flaming douche about it

That's the problem, everyone wants to "share information" but that doesn't mean starting a new thread to get attention so you feel as if you got a pat on the back. Nor do you have the excuse of being a noob/not knowing GBATemp rules as you've been here since 07 as a lurker. You posted the exact minute GW updated their page (page monitor told me) so you obviously wanted to be "the first" to post it. I'm not being mean but if u post outside of where you are supposed to it encourages more people to post outside of the GW news thread which there already is an overflow of which is goddamn annoying at this point.

What if all the games from now on will use the NAND save? Then multirom isnt that important. Yes multirom is convenient but rom compatibility is core function.

And they arent some unknown games either that uses NAND based games. Pokemon and Animal Crossings are 3rd and 5th best selling games on 3DS worldwide. Which are also released just recently while the number 1 and 2 best selling games were released in 2011.

I'm returning my Gateway if the FW doesn't come out within a week. I'll rebuy when the price drops and MR is actually supported. Or I will buy a dirt cheap clone. What I'm not going to do is sit here WAITING to use it. Without multirom, the cart is virtually useless. I get sick and tired of games within minutes.

Oh god, this again...
