Hey guys,

I'm not into the vita scene much. But am I right to assume that there is nothing I can do with my firmware (or 3.01) since I don't have any exploitable game and they aren't available for purchase anymore?

If there is something I might've overlooked, please let me know. Better be safe than sorry :)

Thanks!

Follow the link that Snailface posted, update your Vita and purchase + download King of Pool ASAP, it will most likely disappear on monday. It will give you the possibility to run TN-V, the most powerful loader with PSP interface.

Had some free time!

Updated the vita, bought a $20 code of Amazon, and currently downloading the game.

All is good right? :D

also
this is VERY VERY important

on the vita
go to setting
load setting
go to system-then->auto-start setting
uncheck Download Update file for System Software

so you will NOT auto download an update
it will be ON by DEFAULT

ALL VITA USERS should do it
you never know when a bad update might happen (see what happened with the ps3 a few times)

All is good! Be sure to backup the game using CMA/OpenCMA so that you won't lose the game should something go wrong.
Dont know what that is. But I'll look for it. Thanks for the follow up!

Will do! Thanks!

Also install the game not just buy and leave it on your download list.
Already had that in mind, and installed already. Thanks!

Awesome, thanks! I read your thread earlier up til the FAQ part. So I didn't read the CMA part yet.
Thanks for the save files, and the CMA links. I'll check them out later tonight :D

One last question, Why should I install TN-V? Isn't TN-V6 the latest?

Thanks again!

While you can install TN-V6 directly. You can still install TN-V4 and use the built in update feature to update to TN-V6.

Nope. It really doesn't make any difference if you update TN-V instantly. You will still get the same updates from installing and updating.
Yep, thanks for all your help!

I was in the PSP scene since almost the very beginning (since 1.5 kxploit).. But never really bothered with the vita til now :)

I'm happy to help! That's why I am here after all!

The Vita is a really good piece of hardware and it gets even better with an exploit. Hope you have lots of fun with TN-V!

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates

    Sorry didnt read that part
