Hey Temp, I'm having an pretty strange problem at the moment and I'm wondering if any of you guys could point me in the right direction? Here what I posted on Nintendo Teck support forums recently about it.

Update: My best bet is to just re download the game's on a new SD card, but would it be possible to recover my save games from the old SD and put it on the new one?

Old post:
Hello, I have an odd problem trying to transfer my 3DS data from my old 4gb SDHC card to my new 8GB SDHC. The old 4gb cards works fine on the 3DS but when using Windows 7 to copy the Nintendo3ds folder to the desktop is where you see issue's.

^Nothing out of the ordinary here
but..

This is obviously an error but when ill try to copy the folder to desktop, ill get this

Duplicate files? To be on the safe side, I cloned the 4 GB SD to another SD using partition master, hit "yes" on the prompt above which caused none of the games to be recognized on the 3DS. I also tried chkdsk /f which did fix errors though, but not 5gb folder issue. I'll try copying the files over using my Linux hard-drive tomorrow and see whats happens, but if you know any way to fix this or backup the save data please reply.
Thanks

If you guys have any idea's or anything please reply, every post helps haha
Thanks, SMVB64

I'm betting your SD card is either physically damaged, or corrupted in some way.
Yeah, that what I'm thinking as well but it just odd that it works without any issues on 3DS, plus I'm able to add or remove files via PC. I wonder though, would it be possible to individually recover each save file?
