Hacking R4i Gold 3DS vs R4i Gold 3DS RTS

Hello!

What differents are between those flashcarts? R4i Gold 3DS (http://nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=149) and R4i Gold 3DS RTS (http://nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=476) and what of them should I buy?

Both have RTS, it's a label change. The "RTS" one is most likely the latest hardware, though.

i recently just bought an r4igold and got upgraded to the RTS version for free. So yeah all it is apparently is a label change. i havent gotten it yet so i can really do a review on it but when i get it i will.

Actually, They are the same cards just in different version.the r4i gold cards also has the Real Time Save function."RTS" Cards is the latest version and the package with the "rts" marked, for more detail information you can view the offical website www.r4ids.cn.

the 4.5 & RTS are exactly the same card, they just supplied newer stickers for the 4.5 cards
ive spoken to the team on this matter, so even if you have a 4.5 its have no different internals

Are they both made by the same company? The kernel/firmware support site is different for the two companies so they don't appear to be the same. Does one card have more features than the other card? Is one card more frequently updated than another card?
I'd really appreciate it if anyone can help me understand what the difference is between these two cards.

They're not the same, one team is known to provide updates when possible, the other abandons their carts all the time to make you buy new ones.

AH - THAT'S the page/run-down/review I've been slogging away trying to find. Thanks SO much for the info. You answered all of my questions and then some and I finally ordered a couple of carts from zhuzhu:

I only needed two, but got three as the third netted me free shipping, so I saved $4 - thus I only spent and extra $8. Insurance against DOA's and loss/breakage and a likely 3 week shipping delay. I couldn't justify the extra spend on the Supercard DSTwo, especially when I need two of them and don't see using any of the extra features. Thanks also for the heads up on *meh* emulation on the DSi/3DS with these carts.
