Hacking How to use R4 Gold Pro on Nintendo DS Lite

Hi,

a month ago I ordered a R4 Gold Pro for playing on my Nintedo DS Lite. Today finally it came

I searched for tutorials but most of them are for 3DS.

What do I have to do to play NDS Roms on my NDS Lite with the R4 Gold Pro?

EDIT: I now Installed new Kernel and Firmware but when I choose a game only a white screen appears...

What games are you trying to play? And what card in particular are you using (picture if possible)?

You should be able to play them games on your DSLite with your cart.

If i was you i would start from scratch, make a backup your microSD and format it using the Panasonic SDFormatter.

Then ensure you have downloaded the correct kernel, put every file/folder from the extracted kernel onto your microSD.

If this fails, then try a different microSD if you have one.

Would you use the Kernel from the Website that is on the Card?

I would use the formatter i suggested, the kernel from the website on your cart is the correct kernel.

I mean unless 5 people told you to get something else and then one person told you to get the "Pro", and you went with that because it's cheaper or something...

I used the formatter and than the Kernel. After that I formatted again and tried another language Kernel. Than I used my 2GB Micro SD Card which I use in my EZ-Flash IV for my GBA. Nothing of that worked?

Yeah, that's why the first post makes it clean that the one for r4ids.cn is recommended, and to check the URL on the cart/box, etc...

If you've recently purchased this cart then i would contact the seller for a refund.

on a couple of occasions, i've linked you to the correct R4i.

Try the code ilove3ds on the checkout page if you decide to use them for a further discount.

I used an other Kernel from their site now the card works

My failure to choose such a clone, but I guess I got lucky.

I just tested New Super Mario Bros. and Nintendogs both games work.

Since other people here had the same problem with this card HERE is the Kernel which worked for me (German Version)

That's why i stated in my earlier post, to make sure you've downloaded the correct Kernel.

Anyway, glad you got it working.

The one which is suggested for my cord isnt working, The one whos working is for another card.

Yeah I do have the 2013 Edition.

The 2013 edition of the same card domiankrey mentioned here, which means not the original card.
