Hilarious. He's asserting his dominance over the Vita.
I can imagine this caption:

Miyamoto - "What is this 3ds competitor that you speak of? Show it to me, I have never heard of such a thing . . . Oh this. When is it to be released?"

I love the stuff that happens between Sony and Microsoft. When Yosp went on MiiVerse, I laughed. Even though they're competitors you can see that they have respect for one another game's and console.

I mean look at that E3 where Shigeru was watching the Kinect. That look he had "are you fucking kidding me?" In here, it looks like he has that look of interest on. Iono, personally, I think the two companies are friends.

I mean shit, hate the games or not, you have to acknowledge that Shigeru is a damn gaming legend.. if not God in the gaming world.

Haha, that's a nice picture. After all, just because you're a game creator for a specific platform doesn't mean you can't play stuff from the concurrence. And he looks interested too, so that's cool.

Being part of a game company doesn't somehow make enjoying the goods of a competitor surprising or a bad thing. It isn't even market research or something silly like that. Miyamoto is just playing a game and enjoying it. I don't even get the point of this thread. Is the idea of Nintendo enjoying something by Sony so foreign that it requires a thread to point it out?

He shows genuine interest in video games as a medium, I don't see how that's a bad thing. ;)

Some company big shots could learn a lot from that kind of an approach - full-on rejecting someone else's products is pure blindness, trying them out to see the pro's and con's is objectivity. It's funny how Miyamoto goes out and tries Sony games while the armies of "Nintendo Pretorians", "Nintendo Martyrs" and "Nintenyearolds" can only chant "lolnogaems" over and over again*. ;)

*Hint - embrace video games! It's all "fun and gaems", remember that! :P

Alternative "Foxi4Sony" comment which is pretty much expected of me at this point:
Miyamoto's just looking for some good gaems to copy. Because:
"Y'know what they should copy (from Sony)? They should copy how to get good gaems from the PS3. Everybody knows is that PS3 make the best gaems. ;O;" ~Chad Warden

Yeah like Sakurai has mentioned how he owns and plays PS3 games, he also mentioned Marvel vs. Capcom in the E3 Smash Bros Direct despite not any of the MvsC games appearing on Nintendo's systems.
Companies not allowed to speak or touch their competitors products is just a shitty taboo.
