I've been trying to get that game to work too. I did it once by changing the ios but can't remember which one..
So what does maxfsaa do? Thinking bout trying it out if its for the better,
Thanks.
Full Screen Anti Aliasing (memory intensive)... but that wasn't it.

I played around some more since it stopped working again.

Turns out I had the default game language set to English. I switched it back to the default 'Default' and it worked fine.

I even changed MAXFSAA to 4 to the cover edges look better and it doesn't choke loading cover images either.

The Smurf's Dance Party and Kirby's Return to Dreamland are working now.

FWIW both are NTSC games.

For some reason they both choke it you set the default game language to English instead of default.

bostonBC and ToddofWar420, i guess both games are NTSC games?
PAL versions run fine here, even with full emusave...and no other modifcations i might add.

EDIT: actually i remembered having kirby NTSC version too..runs without problems..
bostonBC, i have a question for you too, why did you change the max_fsaa?
This value is 3 by default.
I had it at 5 because that seemed to be the sweet spot for visuals and performance. Any higher and it really slowed down. But with it at 5 it caused some problems when loading covers in the coverflow. Pushed it down to 4 and it works nicely loading covers and smooths the edges of the covers as they fly by... not as nice as with it set to 5 but it all works now.

The problem with Kirby and The Smurfs turned out to be a change I made in the default game language. I changed it to English and that causes those 2 games to blow up for some reason.

So since we're on the topic of emusaves, that's one of the only things left for me to setup in WiiFlow and I'd like to check it off of my list of things to do. I've researched it here and there, but I don't fully understand how to implement it. How would I direct all of my Wii game saves to my emunand?
Nevermind, I figured it out.

So wii games do work if you don't use emusaves? Otherwise I was thinking it was something to do with wii games being on 2nd ntfs partition.

edit: Abz and MassiveRican can you guys make a wbfs folder on you first fat partition and put a few games in it and then change wiiflow to find that new wbfs partition on your hdd and then test again?
Hi Fledge68 here are results with r873 Force cIOS Load yes w/249, I created a WBFS folder on my FAT32 partion, put a couple of gamesin it, and set wiiflow to read partition1 then partition 2. Results for FAT32 and NTFS are below.

My Setup:
1TB Fat32 50GB Partition & Rest of HDD NTFS Partition

Fat32 WBFS one partition everything results:
Launched Wii games with WiiWAre Emusave off in combined View = Wii Games work, WiiWare launched with proper emusave file
Launched Wii games with WiiWAre Emusave on in combined View = Wii Games code dump, WiiWare launched with proper save file

FAT32 WiiFlow apps & Settings NTFS WBFS Folder Results
Launched Wii games with WiiWAre Emusave off in combined View = Wii Games work, WiiWare launched with proper emusave file
Launched Wii games with WiiWAre Emusave on in combined View = Wii Games code dump, WiiWare launched with proper save file

Seems as long as emusave is off Wii Games launch. Not able to compile r878 cuz I'm at a buddies house no environment to make r878 can anyone share?

Thanks MassiveRican. now we know that most likely the emusave partition isn't being set right or isn't being set at all prior to wii game launch. A small problem I overlooked. I'll take a look at it when I can unless Fix94 beats me to it.

Sorry guys I couldn't test or update the new stuff yet but it seems someone made a strike against my mediafire account and all my files are down. I never thought that some custom dm-booter channels can cause a national security threat.
Anyways no news in the near future.

Does anyone know how to put the cheats in the NES, SNES, GBA, ect plugins in Wiiflow? I checked the WiiFloWiki 4 page and didn't see nothing that would help with that.
I'm not really sure if they even work but just thought to ask since I see the options.
Oh, and before I forget..
I was playing Pokemon Blue Version this weekend and I wanted to catch a Mew. After searching the interweb for some time, i found that there is a glitch early in the game to get him to appear wild once. After doing everything step by step, This is a save state when he appeared. All that you would need to do is change Pokemon to Geodude and Tackle until Mew is weak then do the Master Ball code when you throw a Regular Pokeball and you will catch the Level 7 Mew. All other info is in the .txt file, just thought to share this since I couldn't find it nowhere else

I'm going to make a guess - you probably need cheats folder just like you have a rom folder and save folder for each plugin.

snes9xgx/roms
snes9xgx/saves
snes9xgx/cheats

and when you launch the game pause it and select the cheats via the menu for that plugin and return to your game. But this is just a guess.

It would work that way with Tantric's Emulators but RetroArch has no cheat support atm. However cheat support is definitely planned to be supported so it's just a matter of time. If you'd like to play with cheats in the meantime use the GenPlus GX, SNES9X GX, VBA GX, FCEU GX plugins ;)

Edit: I miss the multi-quote option :P no way to multi-quote to posts on different pages from what I can see w/o copy/pasting :(
