This works on ALL flashcarts, expect possibly the AK2.
It works fine on my AK2i, though, so I don't know if it's specific to the original.

I got it to work fine on my ak2i +dsi as well.
Tell me what does it do? does it crush when you try to push on the emulator? give some errors?(post a pic if so)
Maybe I am wrong and you're referring to the ak2 he mentioned. anyway be more specific about the problem else I and others can't help you.

I have an R4 SDHC (its a clone of R4 of course), but the problem is whenever I try to run FF VI from any settings it freezes just after choosing the last setting. I'm talking about when you choose oldirq or newirq or any of the others.

did you try other rom file?
According to the compatibility list it suppose to work with revision 40 under forceirq (not sure whoever wrote it can be trusted though) I will try to play this game later since I can't atm.

I tried loading Pokemon Ruby E with advirq and it wouldn't load. Using genuine Acekard 2i.

Update: player594 I got the same result as well. I did a little changes and got to the title screen without being able to start a new game.(changed the sync to 39 instead of 159)
most games work fine(minor sound problems) some flat out crush, and some get to the title screen without having being able to start a new game. just something I noticed trying to run 15 games or so.

It support AK2i I have it after all.
There are no instructions as far as I'm aware of but it's self explanatory just put all files in the root of the sdhc and the rom push on the nds main program file that is in the root and inside the program choose the rom, click "a" all the way and it will run (there are many options but for the newbie best to try aaa.. first).

The emulator doesn't work on R4 clones, at least not on mine.

Download it from the first post, unzip it to the root of your mSD (minus the _rpg folder or whatever), then run HBMenu.nds from the AK2i. From there, browse to the ROM, mash A until the IRQ list, and try either newirq or advirq, and optionally the sound versions.
