Homebrew Mastershoes Emu Forwarder Collection: 2nd Edition

I modded another Wii today and used a few of these awesome channels. I love the graphics, they're really accurate of what they represent. I did notice that the music to the Snes/NES/GBA/Atari Channels & Sega Genesis all seemed rather dark. Is there a way to perhaps add sound that is (an idea only) from whatever happened to be the most popular games of the given console? Most of those games mostly had upbeat and happy-ish music. Other than that though, your channels are a 10!

I also noticed that the Sega Genesis channel crashes when I tried to launch the emulator.

I'm not a n00b when it comes to modding Wii's as I have managed to mod around 45 or so with a 100% success rate thus far. Thank you so much for your awesome channels, I really do appreciate them

Hey whatsup.. I've added a version of GenPlus (US & PAL) with Fix's v11 dollz only source to the mediafire folder (it's labeled with v11do).. check that out and let me know how it works for you... in the latest genplusgx release, there were 2 wii dol's present (one in the main folder, and one in the wii folder), one of them was compressed, which is probably the one yer usin.. so this should work. I can't test it cuz i'm not using it, but if you could report back if it's working, i'd appreciate it

As for the music....I intended this to be a 'darker' set. So I was looking for some of the darker game music. They are all ironically from popular games, lol.. the fceugx is from metroid, the snes is from FF2, and I can't remember the others off the top of my head, i'm kind of buzzed in my garage at the moment Guess it's not everyone's bag, but i think it fits well. I'll tell you what though, if you send me audio files of what you want for 'em I'll put it together for ya (cut a loop 'n insert it) but i don't have much time to go searching for new audiofiles atm.. If you can send me files or links to what you want, I'll hook you up!

I was thinking Mario Bros. for FCEUGX and maybe Dig Dug for Snes9xGX maybe Donkey Kong is nice as well. All are pretty recognizable and have good memories. Happy times and sunshine.

Can I put in a request for a fbzx-wii forwarder ?. Version 3 is now out and it works perfect so it has replaced Fuse as my choice of Spectrum emulator. I know you're busy with Dark Umbra and cover collections etc but if you can find time my forwarder collection will be complete !.

The June 22nd 2012 update of the Sega Saturn Emulator (Yabuse) seems to have broken the forwarder for me. All I get now is a codedump but it works fine if I go into the homebrew channel and load the Yabuse Emulator directly. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the forwarder to no avail. Anyone know what I can do to fix this? I really love Mastershoes forwarders so I am hoping I can get this working again... thanks in advance!

I just noticed this too about two days ago. I'll try out Fix94's v12 source, and if that doesn't work a few others. I'll update it here when i get it fixed

When I use GenPlusGX - DGPA v11 2nd Edition, it says it can't initialize the SD (when I launch it from the homebrew channel).

Using the latest version (1.7.0) of GenPlusGX installed to my SD. Any idea what could be wrong?

Also not a fan of the "forwarder by Mastershoes" as it isn't technically your forwarder. It's just your images that you've injected along with the path change to wich they forward. In my opinion it should be "artwork by Mastershoes".

Well, it works if you consider the fact that your playing all these emulators on your TV O.o Although I understand your point about the PC/Handhelds/Vectrex/Whateverelse being on a TV.. these are older works, and really I was trying to get a decent complete collection of emu forwarders together that followed a theme. I don't really see it as a "pity". On a side note, I chose that drawn TV because it looks just like the one I grew up with.

Well, if your not a fan, don't use them, or edit them, what can i say? TBH, if i were to make these today, I wouldn't have put my name on the background.. These were made shortly after i got into the scene, and I guess I was trying to make a name for myself in a way. Also, where as i guess "technically" i didn't create this forwarder from scratch, both the .brlyt's, and .brlans have both been heavily edited with added animations, images and a lot more. I spent a lot of time with benzin on these, to the point where I almost feel like i did make it from scratch, so I actually kind of take offense to that (not much though, i'm pretty damn hard to offend, lol). And gathering and editing all the images, plus gathereing and cutting all the loops from scratch was pretty time consuming as well when you consider there's what like 40 different wads 30 something different systems? Not to mention compiling the .dol's (I use fix's sources and compile them myself, I don't use customizemii for that.) You make it sound so easy. Gettin' that animation for the "knob" timed just right was a pain in the ass!

You said thanks for the work, but then all you had was negative comments.

That's a bummer. That's when you feel like all the work you put in to making nice stuff for other people is almost pointless. Whatever. Have a nice day anyway man.
