Is there a way to adjust the configs for individual cores? For instance, I'd like to adjust pce_fast.cdpsgvolume and pce_fast.cddavolume for the Mednafen PC Engine Fast core; when I do it in the Wiimednafen config file for that emulator it flat out ignores it and also deletes it! Thanks for any help!

ps, If there's a way to get Wiimednafen to cooperate in that regard as well (or if there's code that can be changed that someone can compile) let me know!

well i found a werid problem with the FBA full core. after i played five games i get a code dump... is that normal for anybody or no?

Why does RetroArch crash when swapping emulator cores? Example, switching from the Snes core to the Nes core works fine. But switching from an Nes to Snes causes a code dump, which baffles me. How are code dumps normal?

As far as the memory leak issue is concerned, it can be sidestepped by restarting RA as we all know. So how about a button combination to restart retroarch, kinda like home + B exits from it? Say something like - and + pressed together.

This and arguments about folder and controller settings--> epic win

thx for RA to the coders who made this emulator happen.. Now I am able to play SF2 arcade games on my Wii

Hope to see some bug fixes in the near future!

I get codedumps too. sometimes my wii freezes while changing between cores.

one thing I would also like to know.
While playing pulstar and blazingstar on RA, there are a lot of slowdowns during explosions. Does that also happen on the neogeo?

what I mean like slowdowns in snes (not emulator) Contra3, firststage and huge explosions.

Emulators typically have a 240p resolution mode, sometimes called Double Strike. If your TV supports it, you should be set, if not, it's going to look scrambled.
It should also be noted that 240p is particular of use for people who connect their Wii to a CRT monitor.
This will produce beautifull scanlines, wich are not possible on LED and LCD tv's.
These lines are best viewed when connecting your wii with RGB scart and are only possible when feeding a low res signal to your crt.

i believe the slowdowns in pulstar and blazingstar DO actually occur on the original arcade hardware(maybe someone else can chime in on this as well). many games have slowdown which has nothing to do with the emulation itself. Im not sure about Contra3, as I havent played that game in a long time... also i personally havent tested out snes on RA yet.

I guess no one can explain the code dumps?
Unfortunately, I'm sure if they could immediately explain the code dumps they would go ahead and fix them.
On the other hand, if everyone who's having the code dump could post a picture of it, I understand that there are ways a dev can interpret the code dump that MIGHT help understanding them and getting them fixed.

Getting the exact error to replicate would be useful for pinpointing the line or lines of code affected, so I'll bring my camera out next time I use it, and spam swapping back and forth until I get it.

Is save stating all I can do? After finishing and restarting Donkey Kong on the Gambatte, it seems my save doesn't exist.

I'm patiently waiting for all the goodness which will come with 0.9.8, but yes @randomizer I get code dumps too when switching between cores which we all know shouldn't be happening and obviously not the devs intentions of having that happen either. I'll take a pic as well next time it happens, that way we can hopefully help the cause out, as I"m sure they're well aware and hopefully finding a fix if they haven't already found one.
