I have a few questions concerning my SuperCard MiniSD
Why does Mother 1+2 (and only M1+2) go into sleep mode when I press L+R+Select (This happens when I try to do L+R+Select+A to save) I tried multiple roms.
How do I save in Game Boy and Game Boy Color Games?
How do I use my SCMSD in DS mode in conjunction with an AceKard?
Pokemon rom hacks (PKMN My Ass is the only one I have tried) and R/S will not save, at all, but FR/LG are fine.
Any help is appreciated, Thanks for reading!

If it's just those two games, then chances are it's the game itself that recognizes the L+R+Select button combo as a command to go into sleep mode. Not much you can do about that, other than using QPC saving.

For GB/GBC games, first off, don't use the built-in emulator as it's ancient and the newer versions of Goomba Color are much better. Run your Goomba Color compilation through the Supercard patcher with as few settings as possible, and save with either the L+R+Select+A button combo or the QPC method.

To run the Supercard in DS mode, you need to figure out how to make your AceKard function like a "NoPass" device, which will then boot the slot-2 card in DS mode. You will then be able to run unpatched *.nds homebrew games, and patched *.dsq commercial games.

No clue about the Pokemon hacks however, sorry.

2i, but I am going to get ahold of a 2.1 due to contact issues, and yes I have used the help thread for that.
In that case, there's an option to boot Slot 2 from the Acekard menu. You can either boot in DS mode or GBA mode, select the former and you'll be able to boot your Supercard in DS mode

@Xdqwerty, People who create revival services for the Wii end up in disaster, same goes for Pretendo lol.

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced

    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
