Burns properly, but gives me error "Failed to Read Sectors......"
Burned several XGD3 games in the past never had this problem, but have done 3-4 recently and always giving me this error.
I only use this drive for XGD3 games.

Any suggestions

Something i have started doing (and so far gives me excellent burns every time) is clearing the OPC on the drive before each burn :) It takes 2 seconds and could solve your problem.
Other than that, Dinoh's advice is sound as always :)
Also what settings are you burning with?
I have tried several and then came upon the setiings as recommended by Lightning_UK (the creator of imgburn) and they have worked a treat!

Now it seems to be getting worse, just tried another one and can`t even get it to verify at all, gives an error pop-up and can`t "retry".
Can games still be burned without an ihas drive? (offline only) using just overburn/truncate selected?

And yes I am using the settings recommended by Lightning UK

You can overburn/truncate them.

But if you end up banned then don't come cry to me.

It's best to burn them with an iHAS like you did before.
The only game you CANNOT truncate/overburn is Forza 4.
IT WILL FLAG YOUR CONSOLE!
That game contains CIV checks which are put randomly across the disc.
They will fail if you overburn/truncate it.

If you're just offline, then you can truncate them, but you'll lose the ability to install them and it seems more and more games are giving errors when truncated as well (read errors/dirty disc).

Edit: Ninja'd by Dino :)

I have been using the same batch of 50 disks for years and never had a problem. I ran out of disks recently and brought another batch of the same make and I got 5 failed burns in a row. I was starting to think I had some faulty media when I remembered the clear OPC setting in imgburn. I have never had to use the setting before but sure enough the new batch of disks needed to have the OPC cleared before they would burn the second layer properly.

I am guessing the layer densities differ enough between different batches of the same disks to cause a problem.

I am not sure if this is applicable in your case but something to look out for.
