Homebrew gbaemu4ds: GBA emulator for DS(i) (DSi Entry)

Is the graphic better if you use the sc Version and the upper screen on a 3DS

  • I can't do that (have no 3DS) (have not tested that)

Hai everyone,

this emulator is great!!! keep at it. I'd just like to know how to save properly. When i press "save save" in the menu from UPkey+A+B, nothing actually happens. as in, i dont get any prompts. and then when i reopen the rom after selecting "savefile" for the .sav nothing happens. can someone please outline the process of saving for me? im using an m3 real if that has anything to do with it.

1. start the emulator
2. open the gba bios.bin
3. start the game and save in the game
4. press y or press save save in the menu from UPkey+A+B
5. resart the emulator and open the gba bios.bin and the save file
6. start the game

if you play pokemon leaf green or fire red you must save 2 times in game and press 2 times y or save save in the menu from UPkey+A+B.

accosiations.ini does not work.
I am using Wood4TT (but with the __rpg folder from WoodR4 1.52).
When I select my .bin roms, nothing happens at all. associations.ini is in the __rpg folder. I changed the launcher mentioned in associations.ini to "GBAemu4DS.nds". (That's what I renamed the HBMenu mod.)

Try putting associations.ini at the root.

That produces the same results.

Try selecting SaveTypeEeprom or SaveTypeFlash128k.

Hi. I was just wondering if the Battle Network series will someday work using this emu?

Maybe, maybe not.

Just keep updated with the latest versions and maybe one day you will be pleasantly surprised to see them working perfectly.

I don't have any game from the Battle Network series so I can't fix them yet. (I don't download games I buy my gba games and dump them. So don't send me a pn about that)

ADD: also this is a open src emulator so anyone can supply a fix

ADD2: You can also send me some money by following the ==donate by using your GPU (GUI Miner)== tut on the op.

Do you use Flash2Advance to dump your games into roms.

No I use my fpga

ADD: fixed a bug in the ==donate by using your GPU (GUI Miner)== tut

ADD2: I have found a way to generate patches for games that lag in about 10 minutes(for every game) that also should fix some games that don't even run and also some graphic bugs. But well you needs some time to patch them that way.
