How Should I sit this? Straight up and down vertical, or horizontal in a holed area or a open spot on top of something?

Lay the 360 horizontally.

ok so it looks like the jasper but with the thing in the middle of the 6 holes.

Only way to make sure it's an Opus is to compare the pics.

But yes.
They where used to replace RRoD Xenons at some point from MS repairs.

Their as good as Falcons.
Although I still recommend you to set the fanspeed to 70-80 in FSD and 70-80 in the NAND.

Try to keep the temperatures below 60 and you should be fine.
