I guess it's thanks to the d2x v8 Stealth mode.
Though, Tintin is still not working, even with the new stealth mode.

not so sure if it is the d2x or usbloader gx, but for sure Driver SF is working on r1100 and up to 1107 (also 1110 mod) with older revs of d2x, but my guess is that its something with gx
btw : We Dare dont work any more and like you said TinTin (still aint working) :\ .....
All the 3 mentioned games try to detect if the game has been launched through a loader instead of the system menu.
And if we dare doesn't work this likely means that dimok has accidentally removed the nop required to bypass its protection.
Oh, so that's why it won't work? Does it load through DarkCorp then? I don't have any of the games so I can't test it.

Yes I'm pretty sure they work, unless DarkCorp is buggy of course.
The original Tintin dvd runs under ios56 and I replaced that ios with d2x v7 built on the same base.
Then I launched the game through the disc channel... and guess what... it worked with no issue.
It means d2x is not detected by the game.

Also I launched the dvd through Tinyload (which only loads original games) with the original ios56 and this time the issue appaired again.
So it seems that the game doesn't find in memory some expected value assigned only by the system menu .

Nope the "nop" is still there. Though its only on game launch with some hooktype method enabled.

Can you check what revision was the last one working with it?

Hey guys - sorry if this was asked before - I did a search but couldn't find the answer on my own.

I tried playing Wild West Shootout USA on GX Loader and keep getting stuck in the menu. Can someone please tell me how to get this working in GX Loader?

Thanks. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

1. Does it work on other USBloaders ? (it will tell if it's the loader's problem)
2. If it does, are your other games working fine with USBloaderGX? (it will tell if it's your game's problem)

Hi:

I tried it on Config Loader and I have the same problem - it keeps bouncing around inside the menu and won't start. Other games are working fine. So I don't think its a problem with GX Loader.

Thanks

Hi. I've been using USB Loader GX for years and it's a great loader. Like I expect a lot of people, I have many games on my HDD and use the "favorite" filter to limit those that are shown so that the list isn't overwhelming. For example, this is useful to show just the games that I or other members of the family are currently playing, or games suitable for party play, etc.

Given the above use-case, I dislike the change in version 2.1 which was the following:
Games marked as "New" will also appear in favorite mode.
When I'm deliberately using the favorite mode to limit the games shown, then install a new game to test it, I preferred the old behaviour where it didn't appear as a favorite unless I went into the game and marked it as a favorite. With the above change, I have new games "polluting" my carefully crafted favorite list with no way to remove them, other than waiting a day or two for them to no longer be marked as new.

What do other people think? Do you really like the fact that new games show up in favorite mode with no way to remove them or do you agree with me that it would be better for them to not appear unless the user specifically marks the game as a favorite? Thanks in advance.

yeah, 1000th page reached.

Support of GC through SD using DML would be great yeah.

About the "marked new games as always shown", I'm the one who added it because it bothered me to always had to disable the favorite mode to find the game I just added (and, if I added it, it usually means I want to play it), to place a star on it (if I added it, and want to play it, I would certainly like it to be in the favorite list), and to put back the favorite mode.

Having the new games shown is easier to place a star after adding the game to the HDD.
I don't think seeing a little "new" icon or a new game is very polluting your display for one day (24h), unless you add 50 games per day to not play any of them :/

I did it thinking about the gamers, not the ISO collectors. just disable the "mark new games" option in the GUI settings.

The favorite is not the best way to make different list for different users.
The best way is to use the categories, create a category per users, and only display your own category, or the parental control.

Thanks for the reply. I had overlooked the "mark new games" option, which I guess will fix my problem. Although it was nice to see them marked as new in the non-favorite list, and I still feel the old method (not showing new games in favorite list by default) was more logical - if the game is new, surely it's a bit early to say that it's a favorite? With respect, by the way, I am a gamer not an ISO hoarder, and so I don't add games very often, but I am very anal about how things appear ;-)

I've looked into categories and I can see that in theory they are a better way to limit what games are shown for different groups. The current implementation seems a bit clunky, though, with several "clicks" needed to switch lists, compared to just clicking the favorite button to toggle views, but I haven't got any concrete suggestions for how to improve it so I'll shut up for now. Thanks a lot for your great loader!

my idea when I added that option is that (as a gamer) I add only games I like and want to play, so for me it's logical that I prefer having it listed right away after adding it. I can put the desired fav if require, if not 24hours later it's not displayed anymore.
It's not like I'm adding a new game everyday, so it doesn't bother to see one game I might not want to play but added it anyway every 6 months.

That was only my intent.

About the category, I thought it's not totally a good choice for multi-user settings.
You can't define your player name as a category, because it's a "OR" search.
It display games which have either one of "Action" or "RPG" or "Plateformer".
If you add multiple users to that list for example "Pelago" and "Cyan", you can't select "Pelago" and "action" and see only YOUR action games, you will see ALL action games.

"AND" search would help (show only games with "action" AND "Pelago"), but I don't know how easy it would be to add that option to the list.
we are missing empty spaces to add more options, and we prefer to keep the loader easy to access for children and users who don't need all the options, which just want to run the games they have.

Thanks team, USB Loader GX 2.3 is by far super awesome, but I have a problem and I hope you have a solution:
occurredI have about 34 games backed up on a 1tb hdd. I have been using USB L GX for about a month with no problems, after playing my back up of Super Smash Bro's Brawl for about an hour in the morning yesterday, then going to work, I came home to play again and the GUI loaded up just fine, the dialog window with the disc came up just fine, my proplem occured after clicking on the disc to play the game. It did the usual go to black to load, then I got a blue screen saying : "Error 002, the disc is damaged, refer to your owners manual. " What does that mean???????? I am currently backing everything up to my desktop with wiibackupmanager3.0_64bit and going to reformat the hdd in fat32 as I had it before and then I am going to run scan disk, then I will re-load everything back on the hdd to see if that fixes it, but if anyone thinks there could be a different problem, please I need help I don't want to brick my wii.
