I bought my niece a PSP 3000 (09g) ($99 in Target! the week before BF) and she wants to play Mario games on it. Could anyone please help me how? I got hold of a folder named Mario Sbornik that has several subfolders and EBOOTs but I don't know how to make it work. BTW, I installed CFW 6.60 PRO B10, which I believe is the only option available for this PSP. FYI, I was able to play Spyro the Dragon (eboot, PSX) on it. Thanks in advance!

You need an emulator -- I would recommend SNES 9x. then obtain the "Super Mario All Stars" ROM (can't help you with that part).

Place the game ROM in the ROMS folder (which is within the emulator folder) and run it. That's it.

Thanks for your replies!

For Mario Kart, what version do you suggest? Coz I was thinking that the N64 version could be the best (I maybe wrong though). Thanks again!

N64 games on psp isn't really the way too go (though I dunno how well mario kart 64 works) You would be better of with GBA and Snes.

And Nes ofcourse.
But NES doesn't have Mario Kart. GBA and SNES versions are really great and Mario Kart 64 may work OK if you don't turn sounds on :P
BTW Cave story is actually pretty neat if you like platform mario/megaman kind of games.

You probably only need a GBA emulator and a GBC emulator.

You can get SMB 2, 3, World, and World 2 (aka Yoshi's Island) as remakes under Super Mario Advance. There's also a Super Mario Bros. 1 remake for the GBC, or you can get the NES Classics series SMB for the GBA.

Then there's Super Mario Land and its sequel plus that GBA Mario Kart game (IDK how run it wells on an emulator though). There's also Mario Golf on both the GBC and GBA, Mario Tennis and Mario Power Tennis, and other stuff like Superstar Saga and Pinball.

Apparently the N64 emu for the PSP can run Super Mario 64 rather well too, but I can't guarantee anything else.
