Hello, I've been looking forward to play B/W again (as I played them with the english translation before the english rom) and I wonder if this requires any patches like HGSS did (the crashing for example) on wood r4. Does it need any patches? if it does, please link me to them or an installation thread. Thanks in advance.

No, it won't. Most flashcard firmwares disable the anti-piracy within the games, so you can copy and play a clean dump.
