this game looks cool. i can't wait for it... i wonder if the wi-fi is like Free DLC only... would be great if it was online mutiplayer but i doubt it...
Tis indeed online mutliplayer that's one of the things MP fans are hyped about. My understanding is the multiplayer is regional only so that players from japan who are not new to the series don't dominate NA and EU players.
As for the above poster, monopoly is awesome, end of story, and this is only like monopoly in the fact that you buy property, since last I checked you couldn't move both ways in monopoly, there were no mini-games, and you didn't level up. (that's only a few of the features)
got some bad news guys.... it got delayed to the 13th of this month... just read on gamestop's web site. ah well at least i can unlock more things on stuff.

edit: 5 hours later, still no mutliplayer match, I think I may literally be the only person who bought this game.
From looking at youtube's trailer, I thought the game looked childish and overly colorful.
Now that you describe it too be like monopoly but able to move backwards and have live multiplayer, I'm a little bit hyped about the release. If the game only had wii speak option I'd totally be off the wall stoked to get this game.

Ahhh... I want this game now. EU release is still a few weeks away...
Played the game to death on PS2, it's fun, addicting and awfully frustrating at times, since the AI is very mean. XD
Totally underrated game, way better than Monopoly and a lot more strategic. Wish they would have localised the PSP version with Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy characters... :>

yah the trailer doesn't do the game justice. Not only is it fun but ITS HARD! The AI is totally merciless. The other thing is the maps are cool , there are three map "sets" with 6 maps in each, one is dragon quest themed one is mario themed and the other I haven't unlocked yet.
The shop is cool since you unlock stuff for your mii, I only wish you could bring that over into other games and not just your mii on the gameboard.
The few negatives I've seen so far is the lack of people actually playing multiplayer and the game length, a standard game can go on average an hour plus on standard mode, probably longer on simple mode. Theres also the fact that the singleplayer mode is a bit bland, but its a boardgame so that kinda implies social interaction. I think that once I actually find players online the game will be even more enjoyable. (might just be my wi-fi connection)

Maybe the servers are still buggy or something... or nobody really cares about this gem of a game. I've got no wi-fi on my Wii, otherwise I'd play with you..
I bet everybody's still playing Zelda right now. Or Kirby. Or rayman origins. Or one of the dozens of other franchises that pooped out their latest sequels lately. I guess Fortune street just doesn't have the following that's needed to sell games lately.WHYYYYYYYY theres no one playing multiplayer

I actually like the game, it is very monopolyesk -- yea I made that word up -- but actually fun!
