I believe you can get the necessary tools here: http://gitweb.bootmii.org/ - in the bootmii-utils.git, there is a "buildtoolchain" directory. Inside is a script "buildit.sh". I believe running this will build the toolchain you use to build ELFs that use MINI. (There is also a directory called "client" which seems to be a sample MINI using application which you could try compiling to see if you have things working correctly). You will need to use Linux. You might need to have some other stuff installed first, but it looks like it probably downloads most of what you need.

Crap. Are you sure there is no way to do it with Windows?

Well, there might be, but I'm pretty sure I remember reading that you need Linux when this stuff was released, and I don't think that's changed. Then again, most of the stuff installed by that toolchain build script seems to be available through cygwin, so possibly it could be done that way. But I couldn't say for sure.

EDIT: Oh wait, the script builds custom versions of those tools. Perhaps these could be done for Windows, perhaps not. Dunno really. BTW, there is a discussion group about developing for MINI: http://groups.google.com/group/bootmii-devel?pli=1 but it doesn't seem too active. Try asking in #wiidev on EFNET.

Thanks for the info, I'll check it out. :)
