My friend gave me his new3dsxl console he was not using about ten years. His parents bought it to him while he was a kid, then they installed installed CFW and he played it awhile. After a break (about 3-4 years as I may judge from SD-card files) he tried to play, but it just "started to turn off by itself after a bit of working". Now, seven more years I have his console and it doesn't even turning on. I recharged it, tried to install newer version of luma, then tried to install 7.0.5 luma and it still doesn't work. Only a blue spark of power appears and then fades. Is there any way to fix it without disassembling it? Or is there even a way to fix it?

Hmm. With not knowing and what you have tried. The only other one to try would be 7.1 and see if that might work

7.1 doesn't work too. It also won't start without SD-card. But with SD-card (version of CFW on it doesn't matter) the blue lamp glows slightly longer before fading.

Judging from the information I found in the internet, it tries to read SD-card memory, but fails and turns off. Will R4i gold cartridge help me with unbricking the console?
