This is going to be a random question, but I'd rather ask before investing.

My Wii Rockband controller is in a horrible state. Finding new Wii Guitars is extremely hard. Even if you find one, it more than likely has hundreds of hours already on it.

Will Bloopair allow me to pair an Xbox One Guitar from RB4 or even the newest PDP Riffmaster that became available this year? There are still opportunities to buy these controllers new in box.

Else, I may need to invest in a Hyperkin Hyper Strummer (Just released for Wii), but it's pretty much a cheap knockoff of the GH3 Guitar and I prefer Rockband Guitars.

Just thought I'd ask. I have no knowledge of the interface used in Xbox/PS Guitars (Bluetooth?) and would rather get a response before even considering buying a new one.

I have installed various Virtual Console GH/RB Games as well as a few Homebrew Games I made using GHOST 2.0 back in the day... I would hate to stop playing them because working Guitars are becoming a rare find. My guitar is on it's last leg and maybe has a 100 hours left on her...

Maybe Bloopair is the solution... especially since it works great with my Xbox One Controller on other VC Titles. I just haven't seen this question asked yet since Guitars are an odd peripheral.

Cheers
Bloopair can only emulate Wii U Pro controllers.

I don't know if this is of any use to you, but Hyperkin just recently released a new Wii guitar called the "Hyper Strummer" - works with Rock Band 2 and 3 (not 1). You can find the guitar on Amazon if you search for its name, though I'd recommend checking out some reviews first.

Hello, just wondering if there is support for the Xbox Wireless Controller.

"Once paired and connected it will convert received HID reports to the Pro Controller HID report format, which padscore expects."

Could you GaryOderNichts make an update where the program saves those HID reports somewhere in the SD? I would like make ini files for nintendont based on those hid reports.

P.S. Just found out I have a wii u pro controller clone.

Edit:
"If your bluetooth controller (wiimote, Classic, Classic Pro, Wii U Pro) is not an official controller then it may have issues (this is the most common problem for users using bluetooth controllers with Nintendont).

Unlike USB-HID controllers, the bluetooth controllers button mapping can't be customized.Instead, Nintendont provides two pre-configured mapping that you can switch while in a game by pressing a button."

>> So it's impossible to get a WUPC to work on nintendont with a customized ini file. :(

Has anyone succeed with pairing xbox series s controller? I have two and can't pair them. I have latest aroma and koopair

Say now that its out. Is it possible to start working on Switch 2 support? It would be gang buster if we could get the new GameCube NSO controller working with Bloopair. Not sure if its possible, but just wondering.

Great news, thank you! I'll try it soon then, cant wait! Does it work also the sound and the motion sensor?

I tried both models and they both work!! thank you so much, amazing job.
hello @GaryOderNichts, I was wondering if you could help me once more. I tried connecting this gamepad on the PC, but it's seen as dInput. Do you know a way so that it's seen as xInput? thanks!

Yeah, I just got my GameCube NSO in the mail today. I set it up with my real GameCube using a 8bitmods Blueretro Controller Receiver. Used the new beta software and it works great. And sure I could plug in an official USB GameCube controller adapter, to use that Bkueretro adapter. But us it possible to have Bloopair support it on its own?

Any thoughts on this? Anyone?

I'm having a problem with the Sixaxis/Dualshock 3. Basically, I have a PS3 controller that works perfectly when I use it in Koopair, but when I use it in another program (including the Wii U HOME Menu), it disconnects two seconds after connecting it.I need to know how to fix that problem .

If it helps, I'll give you the details: I have a silver Dualshock 3 that says on the back that it's a CECHZC2E B1 model, and on the back it also says "N1158." I don't know what that means.

So I've been trying to play my VC game version of Pokemon Colloseum using my Dualsense Controller, but every time I enter the game the Controller disconnects and I am only able to use the GamePad. I've done some digging and it seems it isn't possible because Bloopair only emulates Controllers as Wii U Pro Controllers, and if the game has no support for this, it just won't work. I just want to be sure, since the game obviously had no native support for the GamePad either, yet this works just fine.

Bloopair works while in the Wii U OS, using some kind of background services.

Those services disappear the moment you enter Wii mode, which is what loads GameCube games. The Wii U gamepad works with it because of something Nintendo themselves developed for making the gampad compatible with some Wii games.

So, no, not possible. Not sure if anything can be implemented for it working on WIi mode, I'd think the developers of Bloopair would have already done it if possible.

Thanks for explaining that. I thought that could also be the case, but since the Gamepad works, I was hoping there was a way to make Bloopair maybe emulate the Gamepad and that could have fixed it, but if this is the case, then I get why it wouldn't work.

Guess there's not much to do then.

The reason is that the Gamepad doesn't connect to the Wii U through Bluetooth, but rather a wifi protocol. So unfortunately, the thought that we could adapt the process that connects the GamePad to the the Wii U for any bluetooth controllers is not a possibility.

This is probably a stupid question and more of a clarification really, as I've only just recently got into actually using a Wii U (other than Cemu previously) and wondered whether this extends for using via vWii or is there alternative without needing to purchase a classic controller which that heavily relys on the wii remote?

Hello!

I wanted to confirm that the Manba one V2 works perfectly with bloopair, you only need to set it on switch mode and works great!

Did you guys succeed to make it work with Retroarch? I have a DS4 controller paired to my WiiU with bloopair. Works fine with native WiiU game, but not Retroarch? Do you need gamepad to navigate menu?
