I’ve been reading this forum for many years and have been using the amazing work done by this wonderful community on DS, 3DS, Wii, Wii U, and many other consoles!
Today I have a suggestion/request: would it be possible to add the cheat codes from the "mods" pack (the ones that enable the Circle Pad, thumbstick, and ZL/ZR support) for the different region versions of games like SM64DS, 007, Harry Potter, etc., directly into the usrcheat.dat?
Right now, I’ve been manually adding them myself by editing the usrcheat.dat provided at the start of the thread and copying the codes from the SM64DS cpad usrcheat.dat. But I would really like to have all of those codes included for every game available in the "mods" pack. That way I wouldn’t have to re-add them manually every time there’s an update to the usrcheat.dat (which is honestly amazing).
As a side note, I did try simply merging the full database into usrcheat.dat, but unfortunately it doesn’t work, since it creates two entries for the same game. This means I’d still have to edit each version manually after every update.

1. Too many button combinations to account for based on people's preferences alone. Similar to randomizers, there are too many possibilities that can't realistically be accounted for.
2. Many of these codes are not optimized very well, and quite lengthy. During my ventures making actual patches based on this individual's logic, some games experience quirky issues depending on the circumstances. This stuff should have been literal ROM hack patches, not cheat codes.
Overall, I don't feel like these are worth taking up memory for. Had these been actual ROM hacks, I could have at least accounted for those as specific entries. All without compromising on the general performance and experience.
I should also note that, despite Nintendo DSi and Nintendo 3DS users having access to more memory and such via TWiLightMenu, my databases started out with the Nintendo DS and flash cartridges in mind. As such, this also means I operate around the system limitations, and I will continue to do so for the sake of legacy support. Given the already suboptimal nature of these codes, adding them anyways will literally waste memory for Nintendo DS (Lite) users. Which also means I'm pushing for limitation consequences to occur, like games crashing due to the engine parsing too much cheat data. I have to be careful with what gets added. As stated already, these cheats should have been actual patches, not cheat codes. I still have plans to look into making further patches. Although the patches don't operate dynamically to account for every preference, it's basically the only compromise, or the only way to meet anyone half way on this. Otherwise zero support will persist.

It's enabled, but it doesn't appear to be working. I'm trying the infinite money cheat and have been pressing select, yet my money keeps getting reduced everytime i try to buy pokeballs.

That's not how that cheat works. That cheat gives you the maximum amount of money possible. You can press Select as many times as you need to in order to keep that value at the maximum. Double check your ROM specific settings too, because too many people miss those settings. I know for a fact, and with 100% confidence, that money cheat works just fine.
These codes are duplicates of the uncapped frame rate codes, just with a check to revert changes when loading the overworld. I have experimented around with this idea some years ago. It works somewhat, but not without its own issues. The approach here is rather hacky at best and isn't guaranteed to stay active 100% of the time (rare occasions when it doesn't work correctly based on some testing). At the time, I even managed to cause the games to crash after having this concept of the code active. I've gotten a ton of requests in the past for uncapped frame rate codes, with users mentioning that they don't like how slow the overworld and battles are. I don't normally like adding extra versions of a certain code, unless there is an absolute useful reason for it. There isn't a gain here cutting off the overworld from the speed up benefits, and quite frankly, this is sort of a minority situation. Unless things change in the future, the uncap frame rate codes in my databases are going to be what's available for a while. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hello guys and gals, as some of you may know, and for those unaware, the Nintendo DS has had many cheat databases in the past circulating all over the place, at one point even GBAtemp had a dedicated, now defunct, cheat section of their own that hosted the latest and official cheat databases at that moment in time. Unfortunately the way these cheat databases were handled back then presented too many problems that never received proper solutions. The level of quality just wasn't there like it was supposed to be, the issues ranged from poor structural management of the supported titles and the cheat codes themselves, cheat codes being a bit of an issue in some use cases, ranging from working but at an inaccurate level, crashing the game(s) being played, and or corrupting save data as a whole. Another problem back then was the amount of databases that existed from random people, which caused a conflict where people would have to swap databases out just to gain title support and or utilize cheat codes that one may have had that the other(s) didn't. In December of 2012, the official cheat database received one last update before it was completely abandoned, and has remained like so, until now.
As a veteran of the Nintendo DS scene, I am happy to announce that you no longer have to deal with the old, obscure, and problematic cheat databases any longer. I have worked very hard to not only revive the cheat databases, but to maintain them as well with the highest level of quality, dedication, and love possible. My goal is to provide the (hopefully) definitive cheat database solutions for your flash cartridges, homebrew applications, emulators, and or cheating devices respectively.
What I do to the cheat databases: - I organize and restructure the supported titles and cheat lists respectively, making it easier for people to utilize and understand the content they are playing with more clarity.
- Add support for various titles, this includes ROM hacks.
- Add cheat codes others may have stumbled upon or have created over time.
- I create cheat codes of my own and add them to the databases to extend on the content and overall experience.
- I recreate, redesign, and or test older cheat codes constantly to ensure a level of accurate data handling and to make sure they aren't problematic when used.

Cheat codes exclusive to the Nintendo DSi library of software will NOT work for Nintendo DS flash cartridges. This is because flash cartridges and the software operated by the end user are only geared for DS Mode. These cheats will only be usable in environments with DSi Mode capabilities, such as TWiLightMenu for the Nintendo DSi, Nintendo 2DS, and Nintendo 3DS family of handhelds, or a compatible emulator of your choice.
- Added and or updated the Anti-Piracy Bypass codes for numerous titles. Due to how the SuperCard DSONE/DSONEi/DSTWO/DSTWO+ cheat engine works within the kernel, there are no button configurations to view any cheat descriptions, which means instructions on how to utilize said cheats will not be viewable on these flash cartridges without using an alternative kernel or homebrew application. Additionally I need to work out the format quirks with the SCC cheat format, for the time being the database for that specific format will be unavailable until the problems are fixed.
Stargate 3DS Users:
This flash cartridge utilizes a modified build of the Wood R4 kernel for DS Mode related content. The developers made changes to this version of the kernel that resulted in a broken cheat engine, which means currently it is not possible to utilize cheat codes using this flash cartridge in DS Mode. I am currently looking into the issues regarding said matter, hopefully I can provide a solution to this problem.

Hi! I'm new to this kind of stuff and i'm wondering if you have a cheat to make Pokemon Volt White 2 Redux full-screen on the 3ds? I looked through the cheats but couldn't find anything like that, thought I'd still ask as i may just be missing it ^^
These codes are duplicates of the uncapped frame rate codes, just with a check to revert changes when loading the overworld. I have experimented around with this idea some years ago. It works somewhat, but not without its own issues. The approach here is rather hacky at best and isn't guaranteed to stay active 100% of the time (rare occasions when it doesn't work correctly based on some testing). At the time, I even managed to cause the games to crash after having this concept of the code active. I've gotten a ton of requests in the past for uncapped frame rate codes, with users mentioning that they don't like how slow the overworld and battles are. I don't normally like adding extra versions of a certain code, unless there is an absolute useful reason for it. There isn't a gain here cutting off the overworld from the speed up benefits, and quite frankly, this is sort of a minority situation. Unless things change in the future, the uncap frame rate codes in my databases are going to be what's available for a while. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Well personally it's mainly that in the overworld of these games is an extremely inconsistent framerate with unlocked FPS which affects movement and the camera makes playing it like that pretty rough. This is why I think having it only in battle as an option is a significantly better gameplay experience and is a good option for people that would otherwise just not use the code at all. The Platinum QoL hack has that feature as a setting for that reason.
It is your database however so I understand if you have no interest. Thankfully I managed to add the codes manually and they work well so people can at least be aware of where to find them now if they want to do the same.
Hello everyone, another update has been released. However, before moving forward, please keep reading.
This update took a while because a lot has been going on in my life, whether it be taking on other projects, or dealing with far more serious matters related to my future and my life overall. As such, I have decided to make shifts in the way I handle future releases for this project, or other future projects in general. Due to the nature, process, the general labor overall that I input into the project(s), things take quite a lot of time to do, and with the developments going on in my own life, this obviously makes things seem like they take forever to the end user(s) waiting patiently. This update in particular was originally planned to come December 25, 2024 as a Christmas present, however plans didn't pan out, and instead this update took a year and just shy of eight months to work out. The database itself has obviously grown further than the intended release, as such there is a lot more here than there would have been back in December. Moving forward, to account for the important changes happening, I have decided that future releases will be released in smaller forms, however, this also means that there may be more frequent updates within that time frame to keep things relatively up to speed. The original goal was to provide larger updates for people to enjoy, rather than having to worry about updating constantly to the point it's annoying. Personally, I have always been of the mindset that too many updates in such a short time frame is indicative of a rushed product, because to me this implies that there isn't enough quality assurance being put into the update(s) to make them count. Of course nothing is perfect, issues will always persist, but if one can squash as many issues as they can find before pushing an update, that's a far more functional product for the end user. Nonetheless, operations over the project will remain the same, the only difference being a small change in the formula with the way I handle things. With this change in mind, this will allow me to attend to more important things just as often as I already have been, whilst still offering something worthwhile for everyone. Heck yeah for sure heres all the links I've found and added a few more if you get interested in doing them as well. Since i was able to write a script text inserter lately, I thought it would be nice to start over again with this translation project.
This is third game of the series known as Imagine Ice Champinships / Spinning Princess and it's about figure skaing.
There's a mini-games, cute characters, visual novel sidequests, no violence and profesional sport nomenclature.
Current status:
- script text full dump
- translated Ayaka's storyline
- translated Luna's storyline (thanks to Lisouchou ( since v0.40alfa patch ))
- some graphics translated (menus, buttons, locations, systems, mini-games...
Heck yeah for sure heres all the links I've found and added a few more if you get interested in doing them as well. No it isn't. Cheats vary in size and scope with how they function. Despite a separate engine handling those things, you take up processing power and more memory to make this work. You are asking the hardware to work double time by housing even more information in memory (UI elements, more code for more options, etc.), and use even more processing power for UI rendering and such. Quite frankly most cheats are designed in a way where you can toggle them on or off on the fly, you don't inherently need anything more dynamic than that. As for cheats that stay enabled all the time, there aren't that many that make a huge difference to warrant needing them enabled or disabled on the fly like that. Otherwise every code would require button combinations to compensate, and that makes things way more difficult and annoying due to other limitations.
