I see that Platinum and HGSS already have the "remove frame limiter" cheat, but unfortunately, this makes doing certain things in the overworld, such as fishing, as well as the Pokeathlon in HGSS extremely difficult. Is there any way you'd consider adding this cheat to the database, which only uncaps the framerate in battles, and keeps the game at normal speed outside of them? @DeadSkullzJr Hi! Did you find a workaround to make your cheat DB work in CycloDS Evo? It used to work years ago, but since it became so massive, this flashcart loads default.evoCheats instead of user.evoCheats.

I worked out an idea that works well. Minor management is necessary from the end user to make said idea work though. My only concern is if the end user is actually going to read the information necessary, or ignore it. Some users already ignore the fine print when joining the server, and end up asking questions that already have answers. Which tells me there are probably a lot more people who don't actually read the documents provided in the download, if they even bother downloading them period. I could just bundle everything in a zip, but that leads to a much larger download. So I'm kind of stumped on whether or not I should go forward with it or not.

This means the ROM you are running doesn't correlate to any matching hash data present in the database. Meaning, you are either running a bad ROM dump, a modified ROM dump (randomizer for example), or maybe you are running a ROM hack that isn't present / updated in the database yet.

how did you get your cheats to work I enabled a saved them but when I load my save the reboots to the start up of platinum

Hello guys and gals, as some of you may know, and for those unaware, the Nintendo DS has had many cheat databases in the past circulating all over the place, at one point even GBAtemp had a dedicated, now defunct, cheat section of their own that hosted the latest and official cheat databases at that moment in time. Unfortunately the way these cheat databases were handled back then presented too many problems that never received proper solutions. The level of quality just wasn't there like it was supposed to be, the issues ranged from poor structural management of the supported titles and the cheat codes themselves, cheat codes being a bit of an issue in some use cases, ranging from working but at an inaccurate level, crashing the game(s) being played, and or corrupting save data as a whole. Another problem back then was the amount of databases that existed from random people, which caused a conflict where people would have to swap databases out just to gain title support and or utilize cheat codes that one may have had that the other(s) didn't. In December of 2012, the official cheat database received one last update before it was completely abandoned, and has remained like so, until now.

As a veteran of the Nintendo DS scene, I am happy to announce that you no longer have to deal with the old, obscure, and problematic cheat databases any longer. I have worked very hard to not only revive the cheat databases, but to maintain them as well with the highest level of quality, dedication, and love possible. My goal is to provide the (hopefully) definitive cheat database solutions for your flash cartridges, homebrew applications, emulators, and or cheating devices respectively.

What I do to the cheat databases:
- I organize and restructure the supported titles and cheat lists respectively, making it easier for people to utilize and understand the content they are playing with more clarity.
- Add support for various titles, this includes ROM hacks.
- Add cheat codes others may have stumbled upon or have created over time.
- I create cheat codes of my own and add them to the databases to extend on the content and overall experience.
- I recreate, redesign, and or test older cheat codes constantly to ensure a level of accurate data handling and to make sure they aren't problematic when used.

Cheat codes exclusive to the Nintendo DSi library of software will NOT work for Nintendo DS flash cartridges. This is because flash cartridges and the software operated by the end user are only geared for DS Mode. These cheats will only be usable in environments with DSi Mode capabilities, such as TWiLightMenu for the Nintendo DSi, Nintendo 2DS, and Nintendo 3DS family of handhelds, or a compatible emulator of your choice.

Due to how the SuperCard DSONE/DSONEi/DSTWO/DSTWO+ cheat engine works within the kernel, there are no button configurations to view any cheat descriptions, which means instructions on how to utilize said cheats will not be viewable on these flash cartridges without using an alternative kernel or homebrew application. Additionally I need to work out the format quirks with the SCC cheat format, for the time being the database for that specific format will be unavailable until the problems are fixed.

Stargate 3DS Users:
This flash cartridge utilizes a modified build of the Wood R4 kernel for DS Mode related content. The developers made changes to this version of the kernel that resulted in a broken cheat engine, which means currently it is not possible to utilize cheat codes using this flash cartridge in DS Mode. I am currently looking into the issues regarding said matter, hopefully I can provide a solution to this problem.

No, those cheats are unstable. If I can ever get around to fix the shoddiness of how they work, they would be better off as actual patches. Not to mention, people have different button layout preferences. There's no way I can account for all forms of preferences with the cheats.

The database has been and still is being updated. Right now Sacred Gold and Storm Silver aren't going to work with the current database, because I've since updated the hacks. I also redid one of the versions prior to the latest build, to account for a very small change that I didn't feel warranted a new version number, which changed the result of what the database(s) expected. So despite the version listed in the change log on the main thread page AND in the downloads (hard to miss either way), the database is expecting my prior fixed version. So for now, you won't have updated Sacred Gold and Storm Silver cheats until I post another database update.

I will say, to assume that HeartGold and SoulSilver, alongside general ROM hack support related to these entries, lack cheat support is rather bold and misleading. It's best that you ask first before assuming, because other readers will potentially think this is a fact, when it isn't. HeartGold and SoulSilver support alone has been present since day one of this project. ROM hack support varies based on what's available, and when new versions are released. It isn't easy to source out ROM hacks from all over the internet to include in this project, let alone tracking when each one receives an update. Sacred Gold and Storm Silver in this particular case have been here for quite a long time, I've just updated the entries to account for the absolute latest versions of both variants as they came. Nothing personal against you either with how I am presenting these statements. Hope that clears things up.

It's fine. If I can get the ROM hack patches worked out, technically cheat support can exist in a more ideal state.

Thanks for this. Recently got my wife a 3DS, and she's playing Lost in Blue 2, having played the first in her younger days, but never the sequel, and was getting quite annoyed at it. These cheats have sorted her out.
