Hi awesome work but the codes for Pokémon black and white won't write to my action replay DS, I get a failed to write error.
Also, black version 2 and white version 2 give me the same error

Hi, I've been searching for several days and haven't found anything. I need an experience multiplier for the game Dragon Quest: Monster Joker, whose ID is AJRP – A37FF7D0. So far, I've only found cheats that give you a seted amount of experience. Can anyone help me? Thanks. By the way, I use usrcheat.dat

Just an FYI the current version in the Updater is broken.

if that's something you can do anything about.
Nope, the problem is on the side of Universal Updater. Already made a post about that in my server, and have reported the problem to someone days ago. No idea what the hold up is. I haven't been given any updates about it. The database is definitely there though and has been ready to go. I didn't change the release formula either so, it's definitely not an issue on my end.

Edit:
Just checked in the issue section of the Universal Updater repository. They have a bug report related to the problem that's a week old, with zero responses or indications that the problem has been addressed. I can't necessarily fault the developer if they are really busy though, it is blatant however that there are issues, and there appears to be more than just this one.

Anyone reading any of this, I suggest updating to the latest database manually. It's extremely easy to do, literally just a single file swap on the SD card.

Is it possible to add the 3DS control options to the database? I tried adding them to it myself, but it keeps failing.

I do not plan to add these for a few reasons.

1. Too many button combinations to account for based on people's preferences alone. Similar to randomizers, there are too many possibilities that can't realistically be accounted for.

2. Many of these codes are not optimized very well, and quite lengthy. During my ventures making actual patches based on this individual's logic, some games experience quirky issues depending on the circumstances. This stuff should have been literal ROM hack patches, not cheat codes.

Overall, I don't feel like these are worth taking up memory for. Had these been actual ROM hacks, I could have at least accounted for those as specific entries. All without compromising on the general performance and experience.

That’s incredibly fair. Is it possible to permanently patch a game with one of these codes? Maybe the wrong place to ask, but I figured you may know.

I was successful at making a patch for one of the games, that being Super Mario 64 DS (although I did recently redo the patches, just never got around to upload them yet). Outside of that, so far no. Other approaches cause compatibility issues that could cause the game(s) to not start at all.

Dang, ok no worries. That figures haha.

At the start of 2025, AGT Team release a new version of their Death Note Kira Game translation, the 1.3, and I think in the database is up to 1.2, right?

Hello, I tried to use the latest version of the cheat file; however, it didn't work on Pokemon Moon Black 2. I looked all over the internet to see what to do, but the only thing I could find was to use Pokemon Black 2 codes; however, my AR doesn't recognize Moon Black 2. I don't know if it's due to the latest version of Moon Black 2 (4.3.2). The only code I need is the anti piracy code.

Pokémon: Moon Black Version 2 (v4.2.4) is the latest version, and that's what is in the database. You'll need to seek 4.2.4.

Hello,
I’ve been reading this forum for many years and have been using the amazing work done by this wonderful community on DS, 3DS, Wii, Wii U, and many other consoles!

Today I have a suggestion/request: would it be possible to add the cheat codes from the "mods" pack (the ones that enable the Circle Pad, thumbstick, and ZL/ZR support) for the different region versions of games like SM64DS, 007, Harry Potter, etc., directly into the usrcheat.dat?

Right now, I’ve been manually adding them myself by editing the usrcheat.dat provided at the start of the thread and copying the codes from the SM64DS cpad usrcheat.dat. But I would really like to have all of those codes included for every game available in the "mods" pack. That way I wouldn’t have to re-add them manually every time there’s an update to the usrcheat.dat (which is honestly amazing).

As a side note, I did try simply merging the full database into usrcheat.dat, but unfortunately it doesn’t work, since it creates two entries for the same game. This means I’d still have to edit each version manually after every update.

Thanks in advance, and please keep up the great work—you guys are the best!
