can someone hook me up with the driver for this? Mine isn't installing
You can find all download links in the last few messages preceding yours. There is a portable version, so no need to install a program on the PC, just inject the payload in the dongle.

Hi to all!. Anyone knows how to update my switch in order to play the last games. I have this ns atmosphere dongle but I believe is outdated and I´m a huge noob on this.

Switch Hacking Is Easy

Best guide. Take your time and read it fully before tinkering with your console. Updating the dongle is super easy.

ok, then yes is probably outdated, then read the OP post of this thread and update using Argon-NX as payload. setup your SD Card with Argon-NX files so you never will have to update the "Atmosphere Injector" payload, only update the payload.bin on your sd card.

Does anyone know where I can buy one now? Battery is expanding and popping the top cover off. Never kept it continuously charged but I suppose all batteries swell over time. Nevertheless, probably time to replace it. Like how it and the NS programmer software work, but can't seem to find them anywhere.

If unavailable, what are some similar options?

You could try to get a RCM Loader One dongle, as a replacement, but if you're a bit of a tinkerer, you could also just try to replace the battery. I had the battery on my RCM Loader One dongle die on me. I couldn't charge it anymore. So I opened the device, and soldered some wires to a cell battery holder I had. The battery holder has a switch, so I can turn it off when not in use. It's just a regular CR2032 3V lithium battery that you can buy anywhere. It's not quite the same power as the original battery which was more like 3.5V, but it works all the same, and I know the battery will never be depleted when I need to use it.

Does RCM Loader more or less work the same? For me I don't really do much but the bare minimum which works fine for my uses. I just download Atmosphere from Githut, drop the contents onto my SD card, and then write fusee.bin to the Atmosphere dongle via NS Atmosphere Programmer. Works great and is simple.

I don't even boot into Hekate, or at least I don't think I do. When the dongle is in I just flip the push the power to on and it boots straight into Atmosphere.

Can I have the same simplistic setup with RCM Loader? Also, what is a good place to purchase one? Checking ebay and it seems like some people complain about one seller with around 50 sold that it cannot be written to, and only comes with an old version of Hekate. They seem to imply it is a knock off without all the proper functionality, so wondering if there is a reputable store for them.

Looking at the OP, what kind of battery is this? Seems like the battery for the NS Atmosphere is easy to replace, and if I can find the battery type for cheap that might be the way to go for me.

IIRC correctly it was a 3.7v lithium battery. I don't have the injector anymore as I don't have an unpatched switch anymore. But the battery also started to bulge after a few years of steady use.

I replaced it with a similar one, but it should work even without the battery attached, assuming you plug an external battery into the rear micro-usb port (or a charge cable, maybe not a data cable). Obviously that's not ideal, but it should work in a pinch.

Looking at my purchase history, I bought a 3.7v 402030 200mah lithium battery some time ago so I suspect that is the correct size as I don't see what else I would have bought a battery for at the time, other than to use in this dongle (I could be wrong though, but this info might be useful).

Unfortunately, I don't think the original RCM Loader One dongle is sold anymore. The clones that came out after are pre-flashed with an older version of Hekate, which can not be updated. If booting to Hekate, it doesn't matter too much, as Hekate will load the newer version (residing on the SD card) if it finds an old version have been used as an RCM payload. It could be problematic if you want to launch Atmosphere directly, bypassing Hekate. I would try replacing the battery for your NS-Atmosphere if I were you. It's a nice dongle, it would be a shame to just throw it away.

There was an old payload I flashed to it at one point, it would always boot whatever payload.bin was on the root of the sd card (I had to boot directly into atmosphere as hekate would mess with my extra ram oc at the time).

It was from a cancelled project called dragonboot or something (it was supposed to be a rcm loader and jig that looked like a gamecart and would sit in the cartridge slot when not in use). The payload could be flashed to any rcm loader though so I used it on this one and I never needed to reflash it again, not sure if someone still has the files, or something similar, but that was the best because I could just put the new payload.bin on the switch sd card whenever an update was needed, instead of needing to reflash each time.

The original battery was 150mah, which are really cheap to get hold of, you just need to get one that is physically no bigger than the size i mentioned earlier.
