Well that stinks, i doubt there's any flashcarts out there with it and if there are they're probably pricey

There wouldn't be much point, very few DS games used infrared functions.

You can however run the pokewalker emulator and transfer stuff to save files.

Not the same but the best you are gonna get without an actual Pokewalker and real DS Pokemon games compatible with it.

this should be a 3ds homebrew tbh. make it go from the built in step counter the 3ds has, so you just bring the 3ds with you, and they could make it read/write from save files on the sd card instead. or heck it could use the save file from a genuine retail cart of the games too, in case you just dont have a pokéwalker that would still be useful

If you have the New 2DS/3DS models the GBA/GBC/GB software emulator mGBA can emulate the gyroscope so you can finally play those Gameboy Color and GBA games that use it without adding a hack to simulate movement. GO KIRBY BALL!

The GBC infrared was basically used for Pokemon and little else and you literally got better stuff from using the games on Stadium 2 anyway. 😀

When you say HD 2DS/3DS, are you referring to the New 2DS/3DS models?
Because I'm pretty sure HD 2DS/3DS models do not exist (unless it's a custom-made thing?)

Hi guys someone know how to use widescreen patch directly on my flashcard on twilight menu? If I enable external firms from luma/sysmodules folder I can't config widescreen per game on twilight menu :( and some games pokemon explorers of sky EUR for example crashes

Yes. the 3DS had so many revisions is not funny.

directly on my flashcard

Flashcards run on DS mode, so you are out of luck, more so if the patch is to run on emulators instead of real hardware it is also not gonna work.

So I’ve been working on getting my boxart setup and didn’t QUITE like how looked so I decided to use the banners from YANBF. For some reason though the transparency is kinda wonky and I can’t figure out the issue. I managed to get ONE working before I broke it again and I can’t figure it out now.

They also show up differently (slightly) on different themes so I think something can be adjusted but I just don’t know what.

Using latest version and I DO mean theme not UI.

I have no idea why the transparency isn't being detected.

Spent some time on it and it seems that the transparency works ONLY if it ISN’T 100%. I don’t know where this is handled so I haven’t found the fix.
You've helped me find the issue in the code, lol. It'll be fixed in the next version.

I have tried to play music files (NSF) in NesDS v2.0 and they do not work.

It is something that emulator can do to start with? Does it work on flashcards? Twilight menu doesn't have the kind of hardware and files access flashcards do so some homebrew won't work.

Is there a noob friendly way to get the nightly easily anymore? I’m working on more banners to flesh out my on collection (and possibly helping with the backlog of requests) so wanna make sure everything looks right on the DS.
