Earlier this year I read the we were close to having a tool that could automatically decompile all Nintendo 64 games. I know some Nintendo 64 games have already been recompiled for 3DS, so how close are we to being able to recompile all Nintendo 64 games for the 3DS?

Decompilation ≠ recompilation. You could probably do N64 static recompilation for the 3ds, but nobody's that autistic. It would require deep knowledge of arm assembly, HOS, the pica200, etc. And even then, the games would still run like shit.

You seem to be unaware of the brilliant recompilations that have been done already.

I'm not sure if you're trying to use autism as an insult or if you understand the relevant correlation. Given how misguided the rest of your message is I have to presume the former.

The static recompiler is only designed for PC ports, and as far as I know that still requires a lot of manual effort to get a good result, so it's not that simple to recompile every single game.
