On a NAND having no legal software you must have Atmosphère MiTM enabled so any traffic to Big N servers will be blocked

  • Enable DNSMiTM, by editing the SDMC:/atmosphere/config/system_settings.ini and be sure the parameter enable_dns_mitm have the value u8!0x1:

Code:

enable_dns_mitm = u8!0x1

for LAN play you can use http://lan-play.com/ https://gbatemp.net/threads/official-switch-lan-play.520912/

Hello, can I get some help please? I’m having problems with my Switch after upgrading my SD card. I foolishly thought that I could just copy&paste my SD card contents to my computer, format my new SD card to FAT32, then copy&paste the contents into my new card. I’m still able to boot into Stock sysMMC just fine, but when I try to boot into emuMMC I’m given the error in the below linked screenshot. Apparently before I dumped and formatted my old SD card, I should’ve set up a backup partition through Hekate which I did not. I already formatted my old SD card because I planned to install it into my 2nd switch today. Over the course of the night I transferred over 100gb of material to my new SD card. The material is mostly just Smash Bros mods. What can I do right now about this? Both of my SD cards have been formatted, will I have to jailbreak my 1st switch all over again from the beginning with my new SD card?

I posted this issue on a Switch Hacking Discord Server and one person suggested that I needed to update Hecate and my payload. Even after updating though, I still get the same error message when trying to boot into emuMMc.

that error is about outdated bootloader files, upgrade Hekate and Atmosphère even if you think you have the latest one.

use this as guide:

Hidden partition emunand?

Ok, I already updated Hekate, but I haven't updated Atmosphere. I'll do that now. Should I also update my sigpatches?
I'm injecting with the new payload hekate_ctcaer_6.2.1 through TegraRcmGUI (2.6) by the way.

Hidden partition emunand?
Sorry, can you explain what that means?

Emunands are copy of the Console internal memory used to avoid bans from Big N network, so you have a emulated NAND with non-saint sofware and a clean original NAND which can connect to N servers.

That NAND can be stored on a hidden partition on your SD Card, if you format that on windows, YOU WILL DESTROY your EmuNAND

Ok, so I read and followed the guide up to the 'Testing the console' section. Even after downloading and installing the updated Hekate, Atmosphere, and Sigpatches I still get the same error when I try to boot into emuMMC through the Hekate payload. And when I try to use the fusee payload, I get the following error message:

Unfortunately, I did partition my SD card to FAT32 last night after I copy&pasted all of the contents to my PC (because I was planning on using it for my 2nd Switch) which I still have backed up on my PC. But I know that I still have two backup folders from 2020 that I made from a guide that I followed when I first hacked my Switch labeled: 'backup (eMMC BOOT0 & BOOT1)' and 'backup (eMMC RAW GPP)' I also have some SD card build backups from this and last year on my PC's storage drive. Could any of these help me get my hacked Switch back up and running to emuMMC?

Do you know if you have an emunand?
Probably somewhere on my storage hard drive if it was mentioned in one of the guides I used way back in 2020. I'm such a n00b to this hacking stuff. Everything I learn, I end up forgetting within a week or so.

Sorry for the double post, it turns out that I do have an emunand backup on my PC Storage Hard Drive from 2020. At first I didn’t recognize it because it was a single ‘rawnand.bin’ file but I now understand that it is in that form because my SD card at the time was in an exFAT format. Should I try to restore my Switch with that emu and backup? If I do, will I lose my Smash Mods or any important data/settings? Honestly the only thing I have installed on my SD card is Smash Bros Ultimate and DLC, my Smash Bros mods, a custom home menu theme, and some homebrew apps.

Hello,

I use a Sysmodule (?) sys-screenuploader but when i boot the switch its "off" by default, how can i make it so its always on?
Now i have to go into the Hekate Toolbox to turn it on all the time.

hello, I need help, the fact is that I used tinfoil and did not see the switch about removing distributions, and naturally I came across filling up all the memory on the sd card, the question is where can I find the distributions that were used to download games through tinfoil
