So iv updated, and boots nicely into 18.1 and atmos 1.7.1.
But iv seeing a couple games has an ! on em and say corrupted data. Im guessing sigpatches?
Its tinfoil and animal crossing. I used the sigpatches from here as i always do https://sigmapatches.coomer.party (now https://sigmapatches.su/)
Never ever use a third-party website for patches. Other users have had issues when doing so and that is usually because those sites don't always have the latest patches. There is a thread here on GBATemp that always has the latest patches which you can find here. Only use this thread and nowhere else.

Also install(update) SYS-PATCH sysmodule from https://gbatemp.net/download/sys-patch-1-5-2-binary-fw-18-1-0-atmosphere-1-7-1.38686/

Hi

i think i f.. up my cpu on my Switch Oled when trying to picofly it

anyone know what caps is on the cpu and where to get new ones ?
\\Thomas

Perfect ill try that :-)

also i get error codes i cant understand
after blue led i get green or yellow (colorblind) short long long
i cant find that one in the AIO Thread

use the search function at top of page, there is some threads about that values.

do not to forget to backup and delete your SDMC:/atmosphere/contents & SDMC:/atmosphere/titles FOLDERS.

enable DNSMiTM if you had blanked your prodinfo (incognito) RESTORE YOUR ORIGINAL PRODINFO before anything.

also delete the folders :

SDMC:/atmosphere/crash_reports
SDMC:/atmosphere/erpt_reports
SDMC:/atmosphere/fatal_reports

because the first time you load new Atmosphère that folders will emptied and that can take a lot of time so you think your console got frozen so avoid that false alarm deleting before.

Download manually from github HEKATE AND ATMOSPHERE, even if you think you have the latest one.

Upgrade your sigpatches https://gbatemp.net/threads/sigpatches-for-atmosphere-hekate-fss0-fusee-package3.571543/

and SYS-PATCH sysmodule https://gbatemp.net/download/sys-patch-1-5-2-binary-fw-18-1-0-atmosphere-1-7-1.38686/

for a detailed information you should read:

and

Please do not forget to make a backup of your EmuNAND.
I just make a summary tutorial for update/upgrade your console

please let me to know if you have a feedback.

oh well ill have to buy one or more switches and try again :-)

Is it okay for my Switch's components if I run my GPU at 614MHz [without being connected to a power adapter] in handheld mode? I'm using ReverseNX to get a game to play at the docked resolution because it looks far better. Power draw is betwee 2.9 to 3.4W according to Status Monitor Overlay.

It has always been safe to overclock the Switch, Lite or otherwise. Whether or not its worth depends on you because unlike the normal Switch, the Lite can only be played in handheld mode which uses the battery. Overclocking will reduce the long term battery life so you personally have to weigh if the reduction in battery life is worth the extra stability and/or frame rate. As for overclock settings, that depends on the game(s).

Well if it was dropped and you're experiencing issues, then its most likely a hardware issue no? If you drop your computer on the floor and it starts showing the blue screen of death, that means you either need to repair it or get a new one. Same logic applies here.

If you are in Atmosphere with Hekate as your bootloader, you can use the in-system function of Restart to go back into Hekate. As for the safest firmware, the latest firmware is fine since its been several months since its release so all relevant homebrew have been updated already to support it. Plus in order to play the latest games, you need to be on higher firmware versions anyway so there's not much point in delaying the upgrade. I would however never ever use an AIO tool; they are always notoriously buggy and cause more issues than they fix. Stick to Daybreak.
Can i play with my switch lite while charging and being overclocked ?
Stupid questions , but i Need to know from an expert perspective.

This is probably a really stupid question, but I'd rather be safe than sorry - if I boot into the stock, non-cfw version of my switch and update it, will it have any effect on my cfw emummc?

Maybe it needs a linked Nintendo Account. You can use Linkalho to link a fake Nintendo Account to your console. If that doesn't work, you can try booting the game in Airplane Mode.

Seems the case, for me on offline play and a fake linked account (linkalho) everything works fine.

Its not likely that you will get banned for using a dumped 3DS cart. That is mostly due to the fact that there are no unique identifiers for 3DS carts.
did we forget about cartridge-unique headers already?

not that it matters much, it's not like you can play online or buy anything from the eshop anymore anyway

They were definitely not unique at least on the 3DS. Otherwise, I would have been banned a long time on my 3DS. I bought Gateway on Day 1 and kept using it even when there were free alternatives such as Luma.

it depends on the game afaik, early games didn't have many. like for instance ocarina of time 3d only has 2 different header variants, it's why you could flash oot3dhax using powersaves. save data is encrypted with cartridge header, because ocarina of time only had two different possible headers then someone with homebrew could install the hax, dump the save with powersaves, and other people can restore it to their cartridge because the header matches

on newer games you couldn't share powersave backups, because each backup was encrypted using the cartridge-unique header, and unless you had the same header (which you wouldn't), the console cant do anything with it

https://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Gateway_3DS_Installation_and_Usage#Enabling_Online_in_3DS_Games

it's not completely clear if they ever actually banned anyone for using shared headers though
