So I'd like a definitive answer. Is a 33k ohm pull down recommended on the mosfet installs, regardless of the mosfet. My chosen mosfet is aon6554. Its a big one but glitches are fast. Thanks. Just want to put this topic to bed once and for all.

I too saw this article on hackaday this morning, but my immediate thought was the same as the complaints in the hackaday comments: he got it this small by doing like the rp2040-zero; he placed components on both the front and back, ultimately making the board thicker than offerings like the rp2040-tiny.

Pretty cool project regardless, especially if only considering the "how small can we actually make this?" notion.
Yeah - I pottered with that thought too - double sided (with mosfet on board etc) but ultimately decided that single sided was better in this instance rather than smaller.

Hello guys.
I bought this from Ali but could not figure out our Emmc’s orientation. I mainly rely on the single extra dot that is seen on the top right corner. It is not seen here. Any advice is appreciated

Your chipped side is your dot placement. Even without that its not hard to tell which is which from the missing balls in front.

For launch error i think you need to match switch emmc firmware version with atmos that supports it.
Other possible is sdcard is fake/clone/defective, try to change the card.

Try add more 47 ohm on cmd.

Struggling with a v1 patched. Everything looked good and I got the no sd card screen. Pressing vol + and - to boot OFW results in the Nintendo screen then black screen. Black screen when trying to boot atmosphere. I did the Emmc benchmark and it did complain about slow mode.

Removing the mod and mosfet, the switch is back to normal booting OFW. I remember reading others having similar issues but can't remember if the fix was using 2 mosfets or adding resistors to dat0/cmd? I am using the rp tiny.

Can someone refresh my memory? TIA.

EDIT: ok slow mode is discussed in the guide. I will try adding resistors to dat0/cmd. Sorry for not reading!

I have tried 2 methods: (1) With Cloning SD card with AOMEI Partition manager (2) by starting from scratch by formatting card and and copied files from latest HAT and then creating partition from Hekate. Help please

Just saying theres lot of fake sdcard, you might try to format and copy dummy file inside it as big as 512GB in the pc to make sure its not the counterfeit one.

As far as i understand there is no way for us consumer to get original product, except we trusting the seller.

The counterfeit might bypass the format, but never bypass the reality size it might had.

A good test program for fake cards is hw2test which I can recommend:

Yes i think its because of fake card also confirmed from Hekate SD Card test.
