Is there a simple "forwarder" that can be installed to launch NUSspli-1.136-HBL in app folder from the Wiiu menu?
Just why? Why not simply use the channel version?
it's very slow when clicking on "install" inside the progam, just like if it was taking a lot of time to find the SD card
That's the Wii Us damn bad FAT driver and stuff. Reformatting the card might or might not help.

Nope, luckily, I tried other versions on your site that you keept ;-)
Tried multiple version, up to 1.130 there is no bug of freeze toward the USD card.....from version 1.131, there is the freeze of around 30 seconds or more that requires waiting before installing or "uninstalling a tile" (only 6 seconds waiting, but instant with version 1.130).....Maybe it's a necessary improvement that allow something else (maybe aroma related), but there is indeed something that slows down under tiramisu with nuslpli , and not related to my SD card . So this is from 1.131 to 1.134......I Can send a video if you wish ;)

1.131 to 1.134 would be too much changes for me to review. Could you try pinpointing it down some more, please?

Yes, there where changes to I/O handling but not sure at what version...

As I said, the changes occured from 1.130 to 1.131...but of course went on from this version.
I have no pb with 1.130, it's not a big pb but it's slamming

Allright, pretty sure it's the free size check. This starts when loading NUSspli and runs async in the background, needing around 30 seconds to complete (not our fault but Nintendo who didn't implement a free space map but calculate when needed. We already try to compensate with this do it early and do it async strategy). Normally you won't notice that but when you do actions needing to know the free size of the SD card before that async check completed you will note.

Not sure why installing or uninstalling would need the free size of the SD card through. This should only happen when downloading something to SD. Will check codes tomorrow to see if there's something wrong.

Thanks for response. I didn't tried downloading, just installing, the 30 Seconds "check" occurs when clicking "install content" that is weird as you said it should only do it when downloading a game. Also check for around 6 seconds when you want to "uninstall a title" whereas it's instant on 1.130
Also, you've asked me why a forwarder would be interesting....I tried to find a good answer:
Maybe because it's interesting in some tests to understand what files could impact the software, also because it's quicker if you want to simply launch the HBL version that is easier to update when you don't have internet access ;-)
It's always better to have 3 ways to go to somewhere than 2, no? ^^

I was wondering about that myself when it seemed to be hanging, after not having used the Wii U in awhile and updating all the apps on the computer. I was trying to install a GameCube injection from SD card, I don't remember at what point exactly it had the problem, if I had to hit the button to cycle to SD before or if it was just opening the install option that did it. It seemed to take forever though. If I use it again soon I'll check at what point it does the "freeze" but I decided to skip injections and just use loaders on vWii instead because it's obviously superior to use a frontend to have individually saved settings for each game.

I just really didn't want to do a 2 HDD setup though. But, what the hell, I can spend some money on another one I guess, that'd be better for playing the Wii and GameCube backups than injections or loading from SD card.

Good to know that it's not actually frozen or hanging or anything though, it had me a little worried when it took so long. I can live with a little bit of waiting though, I figure most other people probably can too. If it was possible to have a pop-up telling people to just wait X amount of time if it seems frozen, that might not be a bad idea, for people who don't check the forums. Just a thought.

EDIT: Yeah, I'm still getting the temporary freeze when trying to install things from SD card, and it is happening at the moment you press the button to switch where it's looking to install from, rather than as soon as I get into the install menu. It's not anything I can't live with though.

Hey guys. I've been using this app for quite some time, but there's something that bugs me... A lot to be honest, so i wanted to discuss it.

This app lets me delete everything from my Wii U... Like, everything. Even Wii U menu. i'm pretty sure my console is done If any of those Nand apps gets deleted right?

Isn't this way too dangerous to be available to everyone?

Yes, and no. It's mostly recoverable.

Why? You can only find and delete the system titles if you're trying to do so. Just pay attention to what you're doing and there'd be literally zero issues.

Going by your logic, something like FTPiiU is "too dangerous to be available to everyone" since it allows you to delete or modify files. Heck, or even System Config Tool, even though it's a tool with genuine use-cases.

Just pay attention, and don't do anything stupid. Problem solved.

While you are right, it is not a very good design choice to let them visible by default and not having an option to hide them, FTPiiU plugin on Aroma is a good example on how it should be done, the option is there and is disabled by default.

To be fair though, NUSspli is a tool specifically for download, installing, and deleting ALL NUS content. Those titles in question (the system titles) are on the NUS, thus they're listed by default in the appropriate category.

I don't see the issue here.

Just a little confused on the Nusspli installation. If I just wanted it to be on the homebrew launcher, I would place the files in wiiu -> apps after going through the Tiramisu installation. No need to also install wupinstaller?

@BlueRoaster2 Correct. And for everything you need WUP Installer you can use NUSspli, so no need to ever use WUP Installer. ;)
To add more than you asked for (cause maybe other users are interrested) : From NUSspli HBL you could install NUSspli Channel. So NUSspli Channel is installable without involving WUP Installer, too.

Hi @V10lator

I recently switched the Pretendo patching on, after I created a profile/user for it. Now, when starting NUSspli it asks me for my NNID password and freezes the console. Switching back from Pretendo to Nintendo and NUSspli starts.

Environment is Aroma and NUSpli WUHB version.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm using Pretendo + NUSspli on Aroma, too, without any issue.
So make sure your Aroma version is up to date (redownload from aroma.foryour.cafe and extract the files to your SD card overwriting existing ones). Also make sure you're using latest NUSspli version as well as newest inkay (Pretendo, see https://pretendo.network/docs/install/wiiu#connecting-to-pretendo ) plugin.

In case that won't help show a screenshot of this, please:
it asks me for my NNID password
