Funny you should ask, I'm actually still experimenting with how I want to finalize my PFly installs. See my 'cut' posts/question ;)

Generic answer: Align the RP2040, on top of the shielding, as far to the right and top/up as you can without exceeding the shield (so as to not cover M9 (right) and not interfere with removal/installation of the motherboard (top/up)).

Bonus tip: Before you remove the heatsink, gently draw a line across the shield so you know exactly where the heatsink sits later on. (@lightninjay Definitive Guide worthy?)
Wow. You really stripped down the bad boy. Personally, I'd like to try and remove thegame cartridge and place the rp2040 there. I think it'd be a great fit in place a no-longer-needed piece.

Just so we're in the same orientation. Is the red dot where you are advising I should place it?

That should be fine, I do mean upper-right though. Now be sure the wires\resistors are routed in a way that allows the heatsink to be installed\reinstalled.

Has anyone here seen this. Idk if it's just me but it seems a bit much

From my location I get 2pcs for 17.5.
It's not much but i think it's pointless.
If they would have come up with this solution by themselves then it would have been a different story but this way it feels like cheating.

Edit: just saw that you have 2pcs aswell so it's the same thing

If they did the work and made the chip then I wouldn't have a problem with the cost

not about the chip though more about the firmware they are using B-)
someone people here took the time to make it work and figure out the issues
now they sell the hardware with preflashed firmware from someone else
thats the only issue i see and thats why im not willing to give them a cent

Not bad on price but looks like no flex.
Yup and the flex is about $10

Well depends on what u see as "hardware" sure they didn't make the rp2040,resistor,caps,led,button.

But as hardware I meant the whole PCB

And not the components on it if u want to be that particular ;-)

Yup don't know what they trying to pull

Lol but still you can pay someone on Fiver to do all the work they did for next to nothing

Ask a specialist to repair it.
Repairing that point is even more difficult than installing pico.
