You are entirely right.

I moded my switch lite by myself and now I'm thinking of buying more and resell it with picofly already installed haha
Why not, it's a fun thing to do, and you can make an extra buck while doing it even better. Just be careful who you deal with because nobody wants to have the "you know who" on their back. The ninjas are silent by deadly 🥷

Someone is offering to do rp2040 installs from my local FB marketplace, and I wanted to ask you experts if you all think this is acceptable work, or if I should keep looking.

The important part is that it works, not that it's pretty. However I wouldn't want that mosfet placement on top of the substrate since it will bend the apu shield and/or result in bad thermal conductivity.

Hello and sorry for the translation

I would like a clarification on the 3.3 volts and the reset.

- Do you have to connect one point for each or both points?

( For switch lite )

Thank you

( For switch lite )

Thank you
There is continuity between those points, so you can bridge them or use just one dot as you feel

failed because ur payload.bin is bigger then 128kb i would say
try replacing it

no dont ask me how that happens just switch it with the original hekate payload

I have seen these pic`s before somewhere within this thread or the AIO Guide. BTW the Quality of work is appalling
Sorry but it`s True ,and for peeps to say otherwise is just foolish. Stay well clear of this so called installer . is my advice.

Hello. Would someone please do me a favor? I have an OLED with a busted screen. It does boot to OFW on dock. I installed rp2040 and I'm fairly confident of my installation. However, The "NO SD CARD" logo does not appear when it is docked. When I remove my Pico it boots to OFW. My theory is that the "no SD" screen does not get mirrored anyways.

Can someone please check by removing the SD card and docking the device? to see if he gets the no SD logo, I'd appreciate it. I just want to be relieved that my installation is successful.

I believe it doesn't show up on TV outside of Horizon OS.

That checks out. Hekate won't show in docked mode either

Thank you both. I appreciate it very much.
Your boy handled the ribbon's cable a bit too harshly. Now I have to order a $100 OLED screen. Lesson learned.

Thanks again.

Anyone else have success with using Mosfets on switches with SkHynix emmc?

Only success I've had with mosfets is if both the emmc and ram is Samsung.

If it's samsung emmc and SkyHynix ram or SkyHynix emmc and Samsung Ram then it's static blue light followed by green and OFW logo. Does not boot to PicoFly no sd card screen.

When trying the flex cable on the SkyHynix ones it works fine. I noticed on the flex it has 2 mosfets and 3 resistors one is a 0 ohm resistor and the other two are 0.499K ohm resistors.

This is info is trying on several switch lites and one mariko switch.

Why is this and what is causing it and is there a solution to using mosfets.

I've been off for a while, but now I'm going to try to install, my question why now need install 2 mosfet on cpu ? First just usejust 1 mosfet and works, but now l see guys install 2 why??

I also looked into this.
The flex cable uses a resistance of about 500 ohms per mosfet.
I think that is the reason why using only mosfet instead of flex cable does not work.

one can work but sometimes it doesnt and requires the second. Also the flex cables also have 2 mosfets

500 ohms from what two points? 2 resistors inline is 0.499 K Ohms and off circuit its 1k ohms. Took four 0.499K resistors and chained them together to ground, didn't work. Put two resistors each on the capacitor, didn't work. This was with dual mosfets. Blue to Cyan color every time.

Tried the flex again and booted fine. Looking to save my flexes for the chips they came with.

There has got to be some configuration to get this to work with 2 mosfets.

Update: So I switched the mosfets on the working flex and put the problem mosfets on the flex. Then tested and same problem, blue then cyan. So now gonna try the flex mosfets in the pico configuration.
