I think that eventually it does not matter as Hekate will pick it up from the sd card if the one in the sd card is newer. I might be mistaken though, but I think this is how it works with my (unfortunately) cloned one.

I see Tinfoil mentioned in places, does that come after installing atmosphere?

If I use a 128GB memory card to start with, can I upgrade to a larger one by simply copying and pasting all the contents from one to the other?

You can follow rentry, Atmosphere doesn't come with sig patches or Tinfoil so you have to look for them seperately, if you decide to use an hidden paritition emunand, you need to convert that to file base before you can move the emunand to a new card, it is best to get the correct size of space you want.

Watched a video tutorial and noticed some people commenting about Tinfoil giving them an error. Replies were saying that they needed sig patch. Is that the only thing I need to install before installing Tinfoil?

You needs sig patches to run homebrews and pirated games, shouldn't use a youtube video as guide, stick to a written guide.

If you plan to keep sysnand clean for online play then create an emunand and proceed from there. Also if you care about the fuse for downgrade purposes then use autorcm.

To switch between emunand and sysnand, I need to inject the payload by connecting the Switch to the PC, right? If I select emunand once, will it always boot into emunand?

You could use the reboot to payload method, so you reboot to hekate. Or you can use this to boot into hekate.

I know this is me being dumb but I mostly play my hacked switch oled in handheld mode, and aside from going in to tinfoil every now and again I have all wireless connections off to be safe from Nintendo's servers. But today I decided to play in the dock and I can't figure out how to stop it connecting from the internet without actually deleting my internet completely. It says flight mode isn't available.


How do you play in docked mode and stop it connecting to the internet?

Hello, I've Done my research for a month or 2 now(hehehe). I think I already mastered the Installation process(watching videos) but regarding for the POST and PRE installation, I'm having a little trouble. I will be installing the Picofly in probably next 2 weeks(when it arrives) on a expert cellphone shop(expert micro solder technicians) and I need corrections if I have one so Kind Ma'am And Sir please help me and thank you so much in advance...

Im afraid to brick my only switch so preparation is key

Materials:
RP2040 zero
36awg teflon wire
47 Ohms SMD resistor 0603(couldnt get 0805)
DAT0 Yellow 4 anchor variant (stethix said this is the best/no reball=no problem[?] )
Flex cable (mosfet too risky)
OLED switch
used in Nswitch, with legit download free games from eshop - 256gb Sandisk card

PRE-install:
-reformat 256gb card to Fat32
-skipping format sd card on legit switch
-put HATS pack by sthetix on clean formatted FAT32 sd card (PC +card reader)
-flash pico with 2.5+ unlock.uf 4mb by Vittorio
-remove buttons and USB C
-flex cable solder ONLY THE 2 MIDDLE or 3RD AND FOURTH pins

INSTALLATION:
-gonna follow this by sthetix also backing up with this by modsville USA and refering to the three pictures attached

POST-install: this is the confusing part for me!!!

- i dont know if atmosphere is already installed
-assuming i followed the video properly i should have SYSMMC and EMUMMC like in the picture. where is OFW ?
-is prod keys and title keys installed already like yuzu?
-how to Dual boot? like OFW and CFW EMUMMC . i researched but sthetix video regarding dual boot was RED OS not Hekate?
-how to ban prevention (probably gonna research this later)
-where to put downloaded 200gb XCI/NSP games and DLC?

Things I have not fully understand and Might be wrong (correct me):
-RED OS = SX OS? , BLUE OS = HEKATE? - based form stehtix video
-ONLY play in EMUMMC
-XCI and NSP doesnt matter

If you turn on flight mode in handheld mode (and keep Bluetooth connectivity on) and put it back in the dock it should stay in flight mode. But if you turn flight mode off in docked mode you have to turn it back on in handheld mode again.

Did anyone release a proper guide or a video of installing the RP2040 Zero/One with the Hwfly flex cable on a V2 switch? Can't really find a source in English and dunno where to start from.
Might actually consider to get an instict/HWFLY chip, picofly seems to take too much effort for the price difference.

So, I have an (I believe fake) RCMloader, I put yesterday the hekate 6.0.2 in the first folder and I have updated hekate and atmosphere and sigpatches in my sd card. They all work as they should. Whatever the dongle is injecting (I suppose a very earlier version of the hekate), it can launch the latest hekate 6.0.2
I will not try the 6.0.1 then


Edit: You are right, I had an older version of hekate in the \bootloader\update.bin. I just realized that. Sorry for the confusion.

• A feature was added to optionally mirror the bluetooth pairing database to the SD card (thanks @ndeadly).
  • This allows device pairings to be automatically kept in-sync across sysmmc/all emummcs.
  • This is opt-in, and can be controlled by setting atmosphere!enable_external_bluetooth_db = u8!0x1.
  • When enabled, the pairing database will be synchronized to /atmosphere/bluetooth_devices.db.
• General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience.

I currently have to re pair my pro controller everytime I switch from Sysnand to Emunand.
Is it possible with this change that the switch will remind the currently controller on both firmwares?

If so, is there a guide on how to achieve this?

In the system setting.ini there is the following lines
