I can't be bothered to read the 160 pages, but does standard worldwide use custom servers too? I saw on the GitHub page that CTWW does use custom servers but I just want to know whether standard worldwide rooms use them, bit cautious about getting banned for any VR mismatches or whatever by using CTGP-7.

First CTGP mod that I'm downloading though, none of my other consoles are modded, would love to play CTGP-R eventually

Also, there's nothing that states how much storage space it takes, I'm aware CTGP-R takes roughly 2GB but I'm a bit worried about running out of storage, I only have 3GB left (at the start of the installation). Some clarification on the GitHub page or something would be nice.

Also, does the NTR stuff fully work on 11.16 since I'm pretty sure it caused that stuff to break?

Had enough storage space after all, this mod is amazing. 7 is a pretty meh game due to no single player VS mode for me, but the fact that this has it, as well as some amazing custom tracks (only played Shroom Ridge and Mario Circuit 1), I can see myself spending a lot of time with it.

I have played a bit of Citric Lite before I got a 3DS anyways.

Neither standard WW nor CTWW use custom servers. CTWW works by using an "unused" region so that you don't get matched with vanilla players. Also you won't get banned by playing the mod.

Still need to update the built in NTR, will not take much time.

Just another question, since this doesn't use the default plugin loader, do I have to set the plugin loader to disabled every time in Luma settings when I want to play CTGP-7? I have another plugin installed (for ACNL) that uses the default Luma loader instead of the one that's used in CTGP-7.

The mod uses the default plugin loader (who told you it doesn't? lol)

This is a stupid question to ask, does somebody have texture characters that were listed on ds hack .org? I know the website is down. If not, then its all good.

An update to Mario Kart 7 has just been released! (v1.2)
This update broke CTGP-7, but I have already fixed the broken patches and will release an update tomorrow to bring compatibility. More info:

(@Chary you might want to cover this as a piece of news)

Hi, I recently upgraded my SD card, since I suspected the one I was using wasn't working correctly, this new one is working much better, but I think some of my CTGP files (particularly with MyStuff/Kart got corrupted) and it makes me unable to open it.

Is there any way to repair
You can run the CTGP7 installer and it will reinstall the mod. It will automatically take care of the save file.

hey guys i get a generic error when i try to open certains track, like the tick tack track from mkds, i have update luma manually because if i use the lumaupdater it gives me an error during the extraction of the zip file, my current version is 11.0 but in luma updater it says %d %d
i don't know how to solve this i've tried updating everything but it seems not to be working

Is there a new version of the homebrew tool for game save transfers from MK7 to CTGP-7? The one on "Universal Updater" not working for me...it transfers my save, but crashes CTGP when starting game with the save copied over to. Not a big deal, I can enjoy playing tracks again, but was just curious. Thanks again for your awesome work. :grog:
