Homebrew Zork: Nemesis port?

Would it be possible to port the dos game Zork:Nemesis to the DS? It requires 8 MB of ram to play, but Quake required 10-12 MB of ram and it runs.

no. you can't run svga 640x480 on the ds. its the reason so many great svga scummvm games were never ported. there was a brief discussion about dsi-mode but nothing ever came of it.

I haven't played Zork Nemesis, but from what I've seen of it, the resolution might not be a problem. While the game runs at 640x480, the actual active area is just 512x320 surrounded by black borders, and the graphics could likely be scaled to 50% of their original size to neatly fit the DS screen. Of course, that would also require someone to carry out such a port, and the chances for that happening are probably rather slim. : )
