Gaming Yugioh World Championship 2008 and 2009

I used to collect yugioh cards and play when I was young. i made a lot of little kids cry by kicking their butts in duels =P. So I fell in love with the Yugioh Championship NDS game!

But I have one question and one problem.


I start out with a "starter deck" that was already made for me. I want to make my own deck and get new cards. Collecting was always a big thing in the yugioh card scene. So I am left wondering if I can collect many many cards in the game and make a super deck that is suited to my play style. Does the game give you this ability and freedom? So far I've won all my duels but I am not getting booster packs like in pokemon =P

So am I able to collect every card in yugioh and how do I go about collecting and getting new cards to make/add to my deckt? If I have to play with my starter deck one more time imma cry hehe

oh and one more thing! for yugioh 2009 do i have to do this new turbo dueling thing? I just like straight up duels and never tried turbo dueling. Do i get to choose what kind of duelist i want to be?

is turbo dueling fun?

About getting new cards (2009, I never played 2008 so don't know about that one) you buy them with dp from the shop, you should be able to find it in the WC menu.
And yeah you can make decks that fit your style, but not always in the beginning, I'm playing WC2010 and made a few decks to my liking quite early on. You should look for a FAQ which tells you which pakcs hold which card and buy the once that fit your style

Btw when you have one copy of the card you want and want more it's easier to use the password machine, cause it can take a lot of time and dp if you try it by buying that pack again and again.

No the password machine lets you put in the codes on the bottom left of the card so like 04941482 and it scans to see if it recognises the card then you pay a small DP cost and you get that specific card!
