YSMenu not working

I have tried installing YSMenu on a 2022 R4SDHC Card, and I just got an error that said "can't open _dsmenu.dat". are there any workarounds to this?

Doesn't really change much, aside from maybe game compatibility.

On mine, I was unable to use YSMENU until I turned off the "reset in homebrew" patch (press Start, go to settings, change tabs until you reach patches and turn off the patch.

AFAIR, It gave me a white screen with no error but you can try that.
