Yes others work fine.
5.2.0
Not to hijack this thread, but are you sure SSBU comes with 5.2.0? I've heard that there are multiple versions of that floating around too. Is there another thread discussing this? If not, should I create one? I think it's really important we figure out how to identify which discs are which.
The verdict is still out on YWW, it seems.
Are you using discU to extract your game? I had a lot of problems with discU. Vgm toolbox has worked every time.
YWW crashed when I extracted it with discU, I never even got to the controller screen.
Problem solved, I download another version of YWW, this time from NUS, and extracted the WUD with UWizard, I finally got it to play
Bad Rips...
Glad to hear you solved your issue. Sorry I couldn't help.
Yep.
I have and tested and thread about Disc Update say that too.
I agree, it is quite outdated. I have also heard recently about 5.4.0 Smash USA discs. Apparently it says Made in Japan on the back instead of Made in USA? There is a lot of unconfirmed stuff going around.Thank you, @fiveighteen, for that link. Unfortunately, that post is rather dated, so I don't think it completely confirms that all versions of Super Smash Brothers U are in fact, v5.3.2.
We also still need some confirmation on Yoshi's Woolly World, it seems.
I think @WiiuGold and and @BALLIN cleared up the smash brothers situation for me.

Thank you, @bt04 and @fiveighteen for summarizing the Smash Brothers U details! I have returned my "101986A Made in Japan" in favor of "83664A Made in USA". It might be worth noting that the 1010986A did still have a copyright date of 2014.
I have access to purchasing 2 more copies of 83664A new at a local store, but cannot decide if it's worth doing so. Does anyone know if the need for the Smash loader will eventually be eliminated? Does anyone foresee (or have) a demand for 83664A versions?
I may also look around for YWW copies, as its versions seem to have been clarified now, too: 101994A (for Amiibo Bundle) and 101997A (for game case) are apparently v5.3.2, whereas 1011216A is reported higher.
I don't foresee that high of a demand for Smash, since we'll hopefully be moving into higher compatibility for Mii Maker and then IOSU Exploit will eventually bring a USB loader.Thank you, @bt04 and @fiveighteen for summarizing the Smash Brothers U details! That's for noting the new version number, and sorry you got a new oneI received the bad Smash. :\
BOX: "WUP P AXFE USZ 101842A Made in USA"

The 83664A versions are the easiest, but not required. I have the 101986A version of smash brothers and was able to spoof to 5.5.0 following the WUP Installer instructions. This got rid of the System update prompts and successfully start the game.
