Seeing that the XBox One is going head-to-head with the PS4 in terms of pre-orders since the latest announcement and shows no signs of stopping I think your worries are gravely premature.

Microsoft fans already endured being squeezed dry with XBox Live for years on end, suffered having to use overpriced Microsoft-branded hard drives because why would they have appropriate prices and dealt with suicidal systems, I'm pretty sure that a little slide before the One was even released isn't going to influence the overall sales greatly in the grand scheme of things.
