I got an Xbox One Controller and have a simple problem - The X-Button (the X-Home button in the center of the controller) isn't working. As i got the Controller, everything worked great. After some month i had to press the X-Button several times to get the controller on, and now, the X-Button has completely stopped working.

When i connect the controller via USB cable, the X-Button lights up and the controller is fully working - exept the X-Button. So i guess the button is broken. I updated the controller via the Xbox app successfully to the latest firmware in hope this would help, but no. I guess theres not much i can do, right?

That sounds like a hardware problem rather than a software one. I would recommend taking the controller apart and seeing whether there's some dirt under the rubber membrane that presses on the circuit board. It's possible that just disassembling and reassembling the controller will shift whatever was causing the problem. Or if there's something obviously wrong, you might be able to buy a replacement part.
Guides here: https://www.ifixit.com/Device/Xbox_One_Wireless_Controller
You will need a special screwdriver to open the case of the controller.
Send some pictures of the circuit board and rubber membrane and maybe we here on GBATemp will be able to spot the damage.

My scratch drive is a gen 2 drive salvaged from a 2015 Macbook Pro, I had to use 2 fucking adapters just to use it in my PC. It's slow, but it's good enough for swap for Windows and Photoshop.

I'd love to see top-brand drives be about $99 per 2TB, that's my sweet spot.
